The food was pretty good. The sides are what stood out. Fried okra with a cornbread coating instead of a traditional batter. Reminded me of my Grandaddys. But honestly the best part is the folks here. It feels like sitting down at Grandma’s table for a family dinner. It doesn’t feel like a dining experience. The server wasn’t trying to be a “server”, he was just like family member asking what we wanted from the kitchen and serving us some food.
This place has great service with smiles all the time. The food is perfect if your looking for a country plate. It's really good. Stop on in tell them Halana told you stop by they know who I am. They will fix you rite up. The best sweet tea not to mention the desserts too. You'll be glad you stopped. Just get there before 2pm that's closing time.
