“I have always loved the Varsity. When we were there Tuesday afternoon it was not crowded at all. We got our food within 2 minutes after ordering. We got chili dogs ,slaw dogs, chili burger and onion rings. I had to get my frosted orange ! It was sooo good! The room we choose to sit in was very clean with tv on. My son, his wife and myself sat and enjoyed a great meal before having to get into afternoon Atlanta traffic going outbound. Traffic nightmare, but, food so worth it. No problem parking. They no longer have car ordering, so you must walk inside. Pricing was good for 3 adults to eat and enjoy.“

“This is my favorite banh mi shop in the Atlanta area! We come at least once a week for banh mi, com tam, and ca phe sua da. They're so quick to turn around a yummy meal, even when the line is out the door when you first walk in. Absolutely the best spot for a no-frills meal!“

We ordered the single patty with everything, which comes topped with pickles and a house sauce that is similar to the special sauce served on a Big Mac. The seasoned fries are also worth getting. “Was craving a good burger and decided to come here. They didn’t disappoint! This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I got the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. Certified Angus Beef - Served with Applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, bacon onion marmalade on a Pretzel Bun. I replaced the bacon onion marmalade with extra bacon and got raw onions. Also, I added a fried egg. This was my first time having a fried egg on a burger and it was really good. I definitely recommend this place.“

When I parked, I noticed the name had changed to Subs & Wraps, so I decided to try it out. So glad that I did! It's the same owner and he told me how he wanted to offer freshly made ingredients to his customers vs. the heavily processed items supplied by the franchise brand. I never ordered any of the Subway sandwiches with chicken because it never looked right, but the Buffalo Chicken wrap at the new Subs & Wraps was incredible. It appeared to be smoked based on the smoke ring around the outside, tossed in some delicious seasoning. Wrapped in the tomato wrap with a dash of chipotle buffalo and peppercorn ranch on top. The chicken just fell apart because it was so tender. Highly recommend to anyone that used to be a loyal Subway customer at this location! You will not be disappointed!“

“MetroFresh is a fast-casual eatery featuring fresh, healthy, and creative food. It is located in Midtown Promenade, near the Monroe Dr. and 10th Street entrance of Piedmont Park. It is MARTA-accessible via the 809 bus. MetroFresh is very bright and welcoming, with a cute coffee/wine/cocktail bar in the back of the restaurant. I enjoyed the 80s music playing in the background. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and offer samples of salads and soups. We ordered Seared Thai 🥥 Salmon, Mitchell’s 🦃 Chili Lunch Special (included 🍪 and drink), and fruit salad. I sampled the Apricot and 🍐 Basil 🐔 Salad. My salmon was delicious. The protein was cooked to a perfect medium, and the stir-fry vegetables were cooked evenly and remained just firm enough to handle the rich sauce. The sweet chili sauce & 🥥 🥛 packed a flavorful punch, and I am looking forward to eating my leftovers. My husband always orders the 🦃 chili, as it is definitely one of the better ones in Atlanta. It is always well seasoned, with a generous amount of 🫘 and just enough 🧀 and sour cream for dressing. I appreciated the different fruits in the fruit salad (plums, 🥝, 🍇, 🍓, and 🍍). The 🍪 was not as memorable as their brownies (🔥🔥🔥). While I appreciated the freshness of the 🐔 salad, I found it needed salt and diversity of flavors. I look forward to tagging along with my husband for his post-workout dinner, as I want to try the smashburger and pork chop. I would also love to visit for brunch.“

“My husband has celiac so he wanted to try the burger bowl. So many places that sell bowls still manage to sneak something in there that contaminates the food and makes him sick. This burger bowl was clean and didn’t bother him at all. We asked about the fries and the crew promised that they only fry potatoes in the oil. So he tried the fries and no issues! Everyone was so friendly and answered our questions thoughtfully. We used to eat at 5 Guys years ago but quit eating burgers when he was diagnosed. Now we’re back!“

I don't usually expect too much from fast food establishments but the gentlemen in this DQ were so lovely. The place was spotless, they were very attentive and helpful and even suggested if I was eating in the dining room I could tell them when I was done and they'd make my ice cream sundae then, so it didn't melt.
While I was there a group of special needs adults and later a homeless man came in, and all were treated with the exact same respect and attentiveness I was.
