“Saturday, July 20, my family reserved a banquet room at Shug’s Barbecue Place for a meal and gathering of sixty guests after my brother’s funeral. It was an excellent experience! The tables were dressed with white tablecloths, the abundant buffet was filled with delicious hot food and the service was great. I’ve told everyone that it was the perfect place for such an event, it was just like going to Mother’s for dinner after church. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great place to get subs. The only things ive noticed lately is the fact they have one person working and never seem to have enough help when they are slammed. I would think management due to sales would be able to tell the nights they may need extra help. I mean when you have customers waiting in line and orders coming in on line as well as for door dash and one person is trying so hard to do all that business as well as taking mean phone calls from frustrated customers and still keeping their cool. Maybe a raise wouldn't hurt for those employees really working themselves to the bone to make sure the store definitely gets their profit. I like coming here to this location because I live in brooklet but honestly seeing this situation play out at least a hand full of times is really frustrating 🙃 I hate it for your employees and for the customers you make wait because yall cant just bring in additional help for a few hours those nights.”

“We had reservations for dinner but had to wait for 15 minutes or so to be seated, but the restaurant was completely empty. Then the hostess tried to seat us in the bar area. After finally being seated in the dining room everything from there on was nice.. The service and the food was excellent. We loved it and will definitely give it another try.”

Raymond was also very exceptional and both of them offered great conversation from behind the bar while still managing to tend to tons of college students. Very authentic pair those two. “Went on a date with the girlfriend and we were feeling adventurous last night, neither of us were familiar with Indian food but had been wanting to try this place for a while. From the moment we walked in service was friendly and helpful and the place looked nice. the menu was very descriptive compared to other foreign places which helped alot figuring out what we wanted to try. with helpful advice for newbies from our server we settled on lamb curry and butter chicken, with plain rice and garlic cheese nann. the meal was amazing as it looked and smelled and spice level was great. this place is literally a trip to flavor town. we loved every bite and left full and as rich as a homecooked meal. looking forward to try new stuff again next week. the tandoori wings and lamb chops I've seen in other reviews and videos are the next thing we plan to try. it's great having this place in a small college town, and impressed it provides so much. even has plenty of vegetarian options. warning, you can easily get full off the different amazing breads.”
