Excellent service and food. Food was fresh, hot, and very good.
I like Mambo’s, especially with its versatility of Cuban and Peruvian dishes, but it may be that reason why it excels more in Cuban cuisine that it does Peruvian cuisine. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. Though some Peruvian dishes are quite delicious, some of them have unauthentic ingredients or have other giveaways that the recipe is not authentic. So, got to the restaurant and was seated quickly, plus. Ordered a margarita, no salt, house, got it in 4 minutes, plus. Menu was a little hard to understand but very tantalizing. I ordered the steak and pesto pasta with a side of capris. Sorry don’t have the Argentinian dish name. The wife ordered a chicken salad with plantains. Both were great! Steak was tender and pasta was delicious, although a little under seasoned. A little more salt would have made it an 11 out of 10....read full review
