“Taco Riko on Riverstone is such a fun little taco truck find, and we had a great experience there. 😊 It’s set up in the Chevron parking lot on Riverstone, and when we got there right as they opened, we only had to wait about 3 minutes for our food, which was honestly impressive.

They had fun Spanish music playing while we ordered, which made the whole visit feel lively and welcoming. The menu was a little confusing at first since the main board didn’t have prices listed, but they do have a separate pricing sheet posted on the window. Once we realized that, it was much easier to figure out what we wanted. The worker helping us was also very patient and helpful while we decided, which made a big difference.

As soon as the food came out, it smelled AMAZING. There’s not really a good place to sit and eat there, so we brought everything home, and it was absolutely worth it.

Here’s what we ordered:
1. The ground beef tacos were a 9/10. They were delicious, especially with lime, and I think they would’ve been even better with a little more of their cilantro sauce.
2. The carne asada burrito was a 9.5/10 and probably the standout for me. It was stuffed full of flavorful meat, cheese, lettuce, and more, and the green cilantro sauce they gave with it made it even better. I didn’t end up using the green salsa because the burrito honestly didn’t need it.
3. One of my friends ordered a quesadilla, and while I’m not sure what kind it was, he gave it a 7.5/10 and said he would order something else next time.
4. My husband ordered two chorizo tacos and an al pastor taco, and he said they were good. He’s had a lot of street tacos over the years, and his take was that these were solid but not especially memorable for the higher price, so he gave them a 7.5/10.

Overall, we had an amazing experience at Taco Riko. The food was filling, flavorful, prepared quickly, and definitely worth the stop. If you’re looking for tacos in Canton, GA or a good taco truck on Riverstone, I highly recommend checking them out.“

“The restaurant is large, plenty of outdoor seating, and has friendly wait staff. It’s a little pricey, skinny margaritas are $18, so be prepared. They do have, daily specials which can help a pocketbook, but weekends can set you back a few bucks.“

Food was excellent (as always) and Cristina made it that much better by being a simply fantastic addition to our visit! Lots of smiles, laughs, and light! We have been to the Canton location so many times and it never disappoints, but Cristina made this visit EXTRA special!! She is such an asset to this restaurant, and excellent at what she does! “This authentic taqueria was crucial . I just moved to Holly springs from nw Atlanta . I am not saying that Atlanta is the Mecca of street tacos however , in modern times , the same people arrive here in Atlanta from MX as they do in Chicago or LA it’s just that those communities are firmly part of latam culture for decades so it’s just a better place to go especially if it borders MX . So what I am saying is that Atlanta area Mexican food is everything that LA Mexican food is . Just minus most of the LA innovations. For example carne asada fries were not existent in Atlanta only a lil less than 2 decades ago . Taco macho is perfect . I always get two shrimp tacos and a glass bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola . Their meat is so fresh from a Mexican style meat market nearby . And if your kids are picky about eaters then they have a burger or tenders or grilled chz or amazing breakfast food that will be something the kids are accustomed to.“

“We just had the best experience at Taco Mac! When we first walked in we saw someone who wasn't really ok with waiting for a table and he was incredibly rude to the manager and the manager handled it like the professional he is. We were seated at our table and had the best service. There was a slight issue with one of our meals and the manager came over, before we even knew there was an issue, and explained the situation. He did everything to make sure we were happy and checked on us several times just to make sure. It was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back. It helps to remember that people in the service industry can only do their jobs to the best of their ability and being rude to the staff or anyone, doesn't make them do things quicker or the way you want.
