The guy behind the register walked to my table and asked me to get off my phone..while talking to my wife and daughter, waiting on my order. All the years of amazing breakfast is ruined by one arrogant employee. I’ve never been told to get off my phone while waiting. I drove wayyy out of my way to come eat there and now you couldn’t pay me to go back.
Sat at bar for several minutes and no one acknowledged me. Once approached by an unpleasant waitress she rushed past me “ we are out of our chicken already today (it was exactly 12pm lunch time) once I was finally approached I asked for just a vegetable plate, then I was informed I could only order “mashed potatoes, corn ( both I did not want) slaw & green beans”. SO YUM. The atmosphere is so sweet and homey. I felt like I was 6 years old again and I walked into my Memaws kitchen as a little girl. And the food is amazing.
