“Sub Base, in the early 90s, was the absolute best sandwich you could get. Fresh baked bread piled high with all the "fixings". It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to re-visit the place (35 years) and I gotta say... DAMN IF They Don't STILL HAVE A GREAT SANDWICH!! The current owners, for the last 14 years, Not only kept the Sammy the best but they added Dandy Donuts. AND THEY ARE KILLER TOO! Hot and fresh just like the sandwiches. The owner Mike was such a sweet heart and decorated my order in a birthday box and even gave me a deal . THE COOKIES ABSOLUTELY SMACK .. The biggest opportunity is the sandwich service. I come here weekly and roughly 30-40% of the time, the person making the sandwich either starts putting things on that I didn’t ask for or tells me to go to the cashier and they’ll bring me my sandwich and then they get something wrong (like mustard instead of mayo). Please just ask us what we want on our sandwich and don’t assume.“

I found a Happy Place.  It is where beautiful spirited staff is, where the décor transcends you, the ambiance invites you, and the cooks are Happy.  PSA- When the cooks are Happy, the meal is exceptionally good.

I walked into the Original Nathu's Sweets with no expectations and left with inner peace. The décor placed me, mentally, on NTR’s Love Dhebba music video set. As I  sat waiting for my meal, listening to what sounded like various selections from Coke Red sessions, I imagined NTR’s cameo entrance. He never came but what did arrive, with order and aromas, was my  Nathu’s Special Thali.

5 main courses, roti, a huge cracker, and desert… this meal was the icing on the cake. OMG, it was so good,  especially my warm dessert.  It was delicious. Beautiful, cordial, peaceful, pleasant staff, inviting décor, great music, and happy cooks, I couldn’t have asked for more but I received more. Thank you Original Nathu’s Sweets…

“Very soft rotis, specially their whole wheat roti with olive oil. The rotis are always fresh, prepared on the same day and they stay fresh for quite a long time if stored in fridge. While reheating as well they are still soft if stored properly in fridge. I didn’t try their delivery service because I usually prefer picking them up myself. They close at 7:30pm which I felt is pretty early.“

Description of the individually wrapped item is good. Most pastries are heavier and less sweet than the US counterparts. Service and atmosphere are great. Great coffee and some of the best moist coffee crumb cake I’ve tasted. We just had coffee and tea with the crumb cake, but will definitely be back to explore the sandwiches and other of order food. “We celebrated my niece's 16th birthday and even though the food didn't come back quite like some wanted it, we definitely appreciated the server Jamani for assisting our server who seemed a little overwhelmed and the Manager Taylor was awesome! He was great with fixing the issues and making the situation better considering it was a birthday brunch celebration! He & Jamani even sang Happy Birthday with us to her!
