“The only thing I regret with my recent purchase is that I didn’t order more chicken🤣. I’ve tried Gus from all 3 locations in the Atlanta area (Peachtree, Chamblee, and Roswell), and this one is by far the best location in my opinion. The chicken is fried to perfection and the flavor- *chefs kiss* so good! I ordered ahead but I would suggest ordering while you’re there because they tend to have daily specials. Would definitely recommend and making another trip to this location very soon!“

“Been looking for some amazing home feel Thai and they did not disappoint. I got the chicken basil Hot and it was delicious . The spicy level was perfect with sweetness from the basil and seasonings everything worked together like a symphony in my mouth . My 2 year old is a lover for Thai and Indian he loves the heat and yall did not disappoint . Definitely will be back so many other options I wanna try . Last but not least the service was fast friendly and informative so if you have never had Thai ask questions they are more than happy to help your palate have a perfect party .“
“We stopped by to have breakfast, but it ended at 11. We decided to stay and have the pizza. It was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. I’m originally from this area and there are a few staples I get when I come to visit and home made pizza is one of them. I liked the veggies being cut up small, crispy crust and not drowned in sauce. I highly recommend, if you haven’t tried it yet.I will be back on future visits home!“

“So delicious. Our 2nd time there. Our daughter (10 months old) is a picky eater and she loves the xiu mai chao, tropical fruit salad, and bone marrow pho broth. Once we find a place she loves, we always come back. My personal favorites: the Szechuan noodles with crispy salmon & lychee lemonade!“

“I’ve been to Snooks several times, but my most recent visit was truly standout! They’ve added some new items to the menu, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken (white meat) with Mac n' Cheese and Parmesan Broccolini. The chicken was absolutely 'bussin'—perfectly seasoned and so moist. The Mac n' Cheese was so incredible that I had to order two servings!
I really appreciate the transparency on the menu, noting that the meal takes about 22 minutes to prepare. Knowing that Jay, the owner and chef, is personally crafting the food makes the wait totally worth it for that level of quality.
To drink, I had both the Peach and Watermelon Margaritas—at only $10 each, they were delicious and a great deal. My best friend joined me and loved her Atlanta Heat Lemon Pepper Wings too.
One of the things I love most about Snooks is that it’s rarely overcrowded, which is perfect for me since I prefer a more relaxed environment without large crowds. It also means the food comes out fresh and timely. Plus, it was wonderful to be served by the owner's son, who did a great job. I truly appreciate supporting such a hardworking family business. “Loved being at the Dobbs University Center yesterday. It was a night filled with laughs and tears! We went to Dobbs to see Rathskellar perform. The students were amazing - I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. This group has so many talented individuals! The tears came when I read the dedication wall to Emory graduates that had also served in the U.S. Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, or the Korean War that lost their lives in 911.“

“I ordered lunch for my drivers on 12/14 and everyone loved it, Mac& cheese, yellow rice, chicken breast, curry chicken, plantains, beans, cabbage, another home run hitter. “First of all, the atmosphere is great and the service is also very good.
As someone who is Taiwanese and who has worked as a chef before, I tend to hold Taiwanese food to a pretty high standard when writing reviews.
If you’re not familiar with Taiwanese cuisine, this is definitely a good place to give it a try. They include some authentic elements in their dishes.
The dry noodles are good, and the rice with braised pork sauce is also decent. It’s essentially the same braised pork sauce served over rice or noodles. Personally, I prefer minced pork belly with the skin on rather than a ground-pork texture, but the flavor itself is great.
The scallion pancakes and beef wrap are also very good. I found the soybean paste sauce to have a really nice balance of savory and sweet.
The fried tofu isn’t exactly traditional Taiwanese style, but it tastes great. It has a hint of numbing spice that isn’t overpowering.
The beef noodle soup was just okay. The meat is tender, but the herbs in the broth felt a little off and the soup could be more beefy and rich.
Overall, it’s definitely a nice place for a date night, and a good spot for people who aren’t familiar with Taiwanese food to give it a try.
A small suggestion for the chef/owner:
The biggest issue, in my opinion, is that the garnish sometimes takes away from the main flavors of the dish. Personally I like the dry noodles the best because they didn’t have too many extra garnishes.
For example, the pickled cabbage and cilantro on the rice and beef noodle soup might be a bit much. The sourness can overpower the meaty flavor of the pork sauce, and too much cilantro can throw off the balance.
I understand that many of these dishes are Taiwanese street food or snack items, where garnishes usually aren’t the focus. So perhaps keeping things simpler or serving the garnishes on the side could help highlight the main flavors even more.

“Had lunch here today and it was amazing ! The Mac & Cheese was fabulous and the staff is very attentive. The chocolate chip cookies are like no other I’ve ever tasted ! They’re open Fri, Sat & Sun this week and adding Thursday next week. A fabulous addition to the Alpharetta food scene for sure! The patio is beautiful too. Highly recommend!“

“ordered catering for my job, and let’s just say my coworkers aren’t exactly used to soul food like this. When they tried the pot roast and that creamy, flavorful mac & cheese, one of them literally said, “This is bursting with flavor!” 😂

“After a full day of walking in the sun and nearly succumbing to exhaustion, this venue in the Lenox Food Court presented itself to be our savior. The fare was typical fast food quality, but I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Plus, prices were incredible given the portion sizes - one box was $9-15 depending on the chosen combo.
Furthermore, everyone who helped us was so kind and happy to assist. 10/10 recommend going for a big, filling meal after a long day!“

It’s hard to say this because the flavor was no doubt one of the best I had but size to dollars it was not, to me, the right price point.Overall it was wonderful and highly recommend!!“

“For a mall market place this is really good. If you have not been around, I would def recommend to stay away this market place. I’ve been in many of these and trust me be glad that here is this good. Quick, Easy and good service. Overprice? Yeah go to any of the hotels or the corner bakery. I believe it’s a phenomenal and getting better.“
