“My wife is a Venezuelan Chef so I know good Venezuelan food when I see it. I originally found this place on my way back to Dalton, GA from a trip to Atlanta about a week ago. The owners were so kind and inviting and we spoke a bit about their story into entrepreneurship. I was blown away by their kindness and humility as well as the fact that they were both there working on achieving their dream of opening a restaurant. Once in stopped interviewing the owners( lol) I ordered the patacon mixto and the enrollado mixto. Both were really good and have to be some of the best I have had in some time.

I was so impressed with this place I brought my wife back a week later (yesterday) we ordered a Venezuelan hotdog, a Venezuelan hamburger , tequenos, and a Cachapa con queso. Our son had the chicken tenders.

Everything was so damn good! Excuse my language but it really was a delicious meal. Once we were done we chatted with the owners a bit and found out that everything is made fresh in their kitchen. Even the chicken tenders are cut breaded and fried in their kitchen.

My wife loved the food so much she ended up ordering some more to go. (She never does this so I’m guessing she loved it)

We live in Dalton ga but we will definitely make the hour and 30 minute drive Papelon Con Limón very soon.

To the owners: Keep up the amazing work guys. Your food is A-grade quality and authentic.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and the space was very clean and tidy. Our son has autism and the owners were saints with him.“

“I have never been to the physical location, but we order via Foodsby at our office and
W-O-W!!! The flavors are amazing and you definitely get a good amount of food for the price. My go to’s here lately have been the Vaca Frita Beef Plate, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, tostones and Latin Cheese stick! Unbelievable ! Don’t sleep on this place. And the green dipping sauce…don’t even get me started!!!!“

“Perfect Latin fusion fair with creative dishes. Yummy starters include ceviche with passion fruit sauce, empanadas, guacamole and sautéed scallops. Excellent main dishes halibut, herb crusted lamp chops and filet. Healthy options available for vegetarians too! Great salads. Servers and fire dancers were an added bonus because they were fun and very friendly/helpful. (Managers could be friendlier.) Overall restaurant ambiance beautiful and eclectic. $25 fee for bringing our own birthday cake a bit ridiculous! Parking convenient $4 Parking fee expected but offers convenience to customers. Our total experience for party of 8 was amazing!“

“We went for dinner and drinks Friday night and were absolutely obsessed with Mylita!!! From her knowledge of everything on the menu, her down to earth personality, and absolute honesty about her all time favorites (which we ordered every single suggested item and were not disappointed at all!!) she really made our moms night out everything we hoped it would be!!! Fried Cheese was fantastic and the drinks were amazing! We will definitely add this restaurant to our list when we visit ATL and HOPE we can get Mylita every time!!!!“

The Bocadillo Latino (Cuban sandwich) is absolutely stellar, loaded with roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, mojo sauce, and pickles on pressed Cuban bread-- oh! and their amazing rice and beans. “We love our new neighbor on Moreland Ave and can't get enough of their Caribbean/Latin fusion. All veg of course! We've had just about everything on the menu and it all is really special. We're actually a little jealous. We need to steal some of these recipes! Well done Purely Plant!“

“My friend and I came to eat here after an event, and it was our first time here. When we sat down, it took a couple minutes for the servers to notice us, but once they did, service was wonderful! There's not much seating, and it's a quaint hole in the wall kind of restaurant, but it's absolutely worth it, even if you get it delivered. Everything was cooked very well, and tasted even better. We already have plans to come back and bring friends along. I highly recommend this place if you want something different!!“

“My sister had the cuban sandwich (at the CTR location near Centennial Park). It came with a dipping green sauce (i.e., lime flavor). The sandwich was stocked with large portions of pork, but it was not shredded. It also came with ham. She said it was flavorful and it was large enough for her to take the rest home. The dipping sauce was pretty good, not sour, but had a subtle hint of lime.“

“I found this place on July 4th 2024. I was shopping next door and the store didn't have a public restroom. I walked into the closest restaurant and decided to get some lunch. I tried the chicken and steak quesadilla with fries. I have not been amazed by any particular food in a long time. This was the most authentic, savory, and flavorful quesadilla I have ever had the pleasure of eating! If you are in the area, go and try this place out. You will not be disappointed.“

“Wow! I have never had a better experience, truly! Before we even walked in the door Malachi made the best first impression with his warm welcome as he opened the door and greeted us. Diana and Farrah were so sweet and made us feel so welcome and offered to take our photos in front of the beautiful backdrops. The atmosphere here is top notch! From the decor, photo ops, and the beautiful and talented fire dancer this place is unbeatable! Dakota took such great care of us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The rice and beans were delicious and packed with great flavor. The flan good not the best but still good. Couldbe used more softness and more caramel onthe bottom . The tortillas were perfectly made, and the avocado was fresh with no brown spots. One of thee best avocados. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. Cleaned right away. “Seriously the best cupcake I've had in San Antonio. It's not absurdly sweet and the flavor is strong and balanced. The frosting does not leave a film at the roof of the mouth like conventional cupcakes do. So worth it and great for those with dairy and egg allergies because it's vegan!“

“The pastor taco was delicious. The rice is dry but still good. Be prepared to order in Spanish or just point at the menu board. The cashier didn't want to speak English. I speak enough Spanish to order and converse but if you know how to say onion in English, you know the basics. I prefer to speak English but if my client is speaking the most popular language in the world and here in Atlanta, I'm going to speak it. I learn Spanish just for the few that pretend to no habla me lingua, y los otros que no entender realamente.“
