“The food here is phenomenal, but it’s the exceptional service that has truly made me a lifelong customer.

My husband and I visited today, and just before we ordered, I received a work call. My husband went ahead and ordered a beef kabob laffa for me, not realizing that “laffa” meant wrap, which I genuinely dislike. When the order arrived and we talked about it, I reassured our server that it was our mistake, and I would be ok eating it. She replied, “Let me see what I can do.”

Moments later, the manager or owner came over and told us they had a beef kabob on the grill and would be happy to make it as a plate instead. He refused payment for the extra dish and offered for us to take the wrap home.

We were deeply touched by this level of service and generosity. We’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I love Mediterranean food so we were excited to try Ela after driving past it several times.

The service was as good as I’ve had recently and the vibe was fantastic.

I had a few of the Negronis which were excellent and my wife enjoyed the Capri Son.

We had the brussels, cauliflower falafel, tamarind-date pork with greens (my favorite dish of the night although too spicy for my wife), the black pepper lamb on a pita, and the Greek donuts.

Felt it was a bit pricey but the service, cocktails, and environment were exceptional.“

“Came here with my family for dinner on Sunday. We were greeted by a sweet man and sat at our table. We ordered the hummus, garlic labneh, sumac fries, and falafel for appetizers and everything tasted good and came out hot and fresh. For dinner we ordered the zatar braised short rib, upside down lamb pilaf, and the chicken taouk. Everything tasted great and was nice and hot. The chef came out to talk to us and he was a very nice man. Will definitely come back again!“

We came on a random hunt after a beautiful afternoon walking in downtown ATL. We were greeted by beautiful hostess who explained we came during happy hour & sat us outside. We enjoyed a few apps, & drinks. My drink the Serenade was particularly yummy, In a new florally distinct way. My partner enjoyed the wine can’t recall the name but the one with cinnamon notes that’s YUMMY! The food was great. We tried the mushroom fritters & spanakopita. & oh yeah the welcome dish! A surprise delight!“

“If I could give Hovan 10 stars I would. Super friendly and welcoming staff, fresh and delicious food, the interior is clean and well kept. I have been eating at Hovan since it was at the mall many years ago and I will continue to frequent is often as I am in Brookhaven. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it- the stand outs are: the Vegetarian Roll, the Shawarma, the potato salad, the hummus, and the Tabbouleh.“

“An absolute hidden gym. Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Atlanta. Everything is always so fresh, the owner is so kind, and the food is DELICIOUS! I used to eat here all the time when I lived in the area, now it’s an extra special treat when I get to have it. The chicken kabob is my go to, and you can’t go wrong with any of the sides. My mouth is watering just typing this out. Might have to go get some right now!“

“Overall very flavorful food. The hummus was excellent, featuring high quality oil and really good pita to go along with it. The lamb kabobs were huge and really well seasoned. Greek potatoes were also cooked perfectly, well seasoned and crispy. Tatziki sauce also was really good. Prices are a little steep for some of their plates, but there were some less expensive options available as well. The quality here is a lot higher, however, compared to lower priced mediterranean restaurants in the area.“

I wish they offered more for the kiddos, as my 6 year old had trouble finding something to munch on, but my mushroom shawarma chickpea bowl was delicious!“

I appreciate the level of attention we received from all the staff. It's like everyone was contributing to ensure the guests were properly assisted. The valet service was reasonable and convenient. Decent music as well. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

“Easy place to eat. No frills, no fuss, just tasty food. My neighbor took me for lunch and ordered for the table. I was shocked by how fresh and tasty everything was. The next day I took my family for dinner and ordered for the table and they were shocked. Even the kids were happy. So far our favorite things are: shrimp and polenta, roasted chicken, stuffed avo w quinoa and Mac and cheese. But everything is tasty. Our least faves are the lamb gyro, lamb kabobs and chicken skewers. The lamb was not seasoned enough and fell a bit flat. The chicken skews were dry. Two things: the wait staff is mediocre at best. The desserts are “meh”. Otherwise have fun and eat!!“

“I’ve had good experiences with the service and the food is fresh. The woman is very friendly and kind. The only issues I personally have is that the prices been going up every time I go and the taste is inconsistent. I recently spent $30 on 2 wraps with no side or drink. I wasn’t happy about that considering that’s how much I’d spend on 2 meals at local restaurants, not fast food. In my honest opinion, I’m not sure how I could justify spending this much on only wraps. If you don’t mind the cost, definitely try this place because it’s pretty good! As for the flavor, sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s decent. I been here more than a few times and it can feel like a hit or miss. Considering the prices I wouldn’t eat here all the time. It’s definitely worth the experience though.

Parking: Small, tight lot which makes it difficult for me to get out“

Dietary restrictions: I eat mainly vegan and this place has PLENTY for me that is still flavorful like their dressings and dips which is unusual. Love that.“

“This is our favorite place to stay in Buckhead. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding! Brandon and the staff from valet, the front desk, the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff are all so friendly and accommodating. We unexpectedly needed to extend our stay. Brandon and staff handled this seamlessly for us. We could not have better service and look forward to our next stay.“
