“So, my amazing boss treated the team to Kitty Dare for our holiday dinner. It was so amazing- I couldn’t get it off my brain so I came back tonight (two nights later, lol) to eat it again. Now, when we went as a group, we were served family style apps and entrees. We had their hummus, Greek salad, and an eggplant dish that had a nice kick to it for starters. Dinner was salmon over coucous, rice cakes, grilled asparagus, and amazing airline chicken dish, their 8hour bolognese, and one other dish I can’t remember but all were incredible. Came back tonight for the pistachio and pea hummus and again- that bolognese. Yummmm!! If you haven’t been, you’re missing out! Special place for any occasion“

“Agora is truly the place to visit when in Atlanta. As a native Turk, I was overjoyed by the authenticity and flavor of the food. Every dish was beautifully seasoned, from the mercimek köftesi (lentil balls) to the döner tabağı (gyro plate). The meal concluded with a perfect touch of sweetness through the kabak tatlısı (pumpkin dessert à la Turka) and the most exquisite baklava.

What made the experience unforgettable was the service. Michelle was gracious and attentive, while Hakan’s hospitality and warmth were beyond words. We were so delighted by both the food and the atmosphere that we are already planning to return for Saturday breakfast. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Agora to everyone.

I returned to Agora for a Turkish-style breakfast on Saturday, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. The moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed as if I were stepping into a dear friend’s home rather than just a restaurant. Hakan, once again, proved what an exceptional host he is. Then I met Sezgin (aka “Sez”) an extraordinary person whose warmth and hospitality elevated the entire morning.

If you’re seeking impeccable service and exquisitely prepared food, go to Agora. I was so enchanted that on my last day in Atlanta, I found myself drawn back there. Sezgin’s suggestions, the Adana Kebap, the Ispanaklı Börek, and the Dolma were nothing short of sensational. Leaving, I didn’t feel like I was saying goodbye to a restaurant, but to friends I’ll miss.

This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta metro area. The food is amazing, made with care and love by the owner. My go-to order is the mixed gyro and shawarma plate with rice and adding some hot sauce. It’s the best shawarma and gyro that I’ve had in town, and Manna’s sauces are amazing. Plus, each plate is basically 2 meals for me, which makes the cost more efficient.
