“My family and I ate at Carroll's BBQ February 2024 after a nearby high school band event at the Fannin County Performing Arts Center. I fell in love with how good tasting everything was and it was my mission to bring my highschool's band group to this place in 2025. Fast forward another year, I am the event planner and I reached out to Tom Carroll (the owner & manager) as soon as I knew the event date. Tom has been very responsive and clear about his offerings, pricing, and everything in between. Today is the event day. I took a group of 76 high school students, 5 adult chaperones and 2 charter bus drives to Tom's place. He already had the buffet line setup for us and blocked off half of his restaurant for our group. He & his crew replenished foods quickly so our group didn't have to wait for long. They were able to feed all of us in & out in less than 45 mins. EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE. Highly recommend Carroll's BBQ for personal dining and/or large group dining.“

“Our breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The pancakes were sky high and as big as a wok! The breakfast bowl was over flowing with goodness. Our server Kassie was fantastic. The restrooms were clean. “I always recommend Pooles Bar B Que, for the food and service. My guests enjoy as well. You cannot find better brisket especially. If you dine in, most likely have to get to go boxes, because portion’s are generous. Last month I came as they closing and the employees let me order to go. Well I left my debit card in the card reader but did not know until my next stop. I was upset because I wasn’t 💯 percent sure where my card was. I called and left a message and the next morning decided to go by because I was on my way out of town. I didn’t receive a call back and no one was coming to the door because they had not opened yet. So after waiting decided to go around the back to see if anyone might be there, and they were just loading or unloading and didn’t hear me knocking. Anyway they had my card and told me I didn’t have any worries because all the staff were honest and glad they could help me, I was embarrassed about being so careless. So there are so many reasons this special restaurant in Ellijay is one of my favorite places to get a really great meal. I’ve feel like if you weren’t happy with something you ordered they will accommodate you. Try it for yourself, take someone with you!! 🤩😋“

My husband and I never got a chance to need anything, this server had our bread in his hand when he got our drink order and he stayed ahead of us through our whole dinner.
