Our breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The pancakes were sky high and as big as a wok! The breakfast bowl was over flowing with goodness. Our server Kassie was fantastic. The restrooms were clean. We enjoyed our experience. When we are back in town, this will become our go-to breakfast spot! Thank you!
I went in this morning not knowing what to expect! Seen some negative an positive comments the other day on facebook! After living in 13 different states, we built and moved into a retirement house in Ellijay a year ago.
SCG is our favorite place in Ellijay for fresh “home cooked” breakfasts and burgers.
Omelettes, biscuits, pancakes are consistently outstanding.
The burgers, fries and onion rings are awesome. Bring your appetite if you get the double bacon cheeseburger!
We haven’t tried the BBQ yet.

The Smokehouse Country Grill serves fantastic breakfasts with enormous pancakes and overflowing breakfast bowls. Their hamburgers are the best in Ellijay, and the friendly staff provide a great atmosphere. With a large parking lot and reasonable prices, this mom and pop restaurant is a must-visit, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.
