I always recommend Pooles Bar B Que, for the food and service. My guests enjoy as well. You cannot find better brisket especially. If you dine in, most likely have to get to go boxes, because portion’s are generous. Last month I came as they closing and the employees let me order to go. Waited an hour for a grilled cheese. Staff made jokes after serving my company, “well atleast you can watch them eat.” It’s bread and cheese. And it managed to taste awful.
We had pulled pork sandwiches. Pork was very flavorful, vinegar based slaw a perfect addition, buns from a local bakery - delicious! We had fried okra as a side - some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff very friendly!
