What a great experience at Biruk Kana! The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is amazing! The owner is kind and engaging. We ordered the veggie combo. Leave plenty of time to sample this super varied and flavorful dish which was generously portioned, easily feeding two. Owner Biruk made sure we were OK and was happy to share information about her food and culture with us. There's even an Ethiopian coffee ceremony room. We've got to return and try the coffee! Highly recommended!

Biruk Kana Restaurant is a very cool and authentic place with a chill and comfortable environment. The food is absolutely delicious, hot, and fresh. Popular dishes include the whole fish, Awaze Tibs, kitfo, gomen, and the Beyenet or regular veggie plate, which comes on big plates with homemade gluten-free teff bread. The Ethiopian coffee, made from fresh beans, is strong and a must-try. The service is top-notch, friendly, and welcoming with a warm smile. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The price is reasonable. It is a highly recommended and interesting place to try, and you will not be disappointed.
