I love the colors and design choices they made, and that it feels like a small local spot while still having lots of space (inside and outside) to hang out and not feel too crowded. “This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! “Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Our server Brittany was absolutely wonderful and the owner Miguel was so gracious. They gave us a desert pizza to celebrate and were insisting on giving us another pizza to go so that we could try another one. We convinced him that we will come back to relish that. They then not only gave us the the Spicy EVOO that we had wanted to buy but also their Balsamic Vinegar and EVOO too. Amazing customer service. Can’t wait to go back. ❤️“

We didn't get to the desserts because we were already so full by eating all of the above. We enjoyed this place like we haven't had in a while eating Italian food. “One of the better Italian joints we’ve had in metro Atlanta. Our waiter, Freddy, was exceptional and recommend both our wine and appetizer, which were fantastic. He made sure our orders arrived promptly but without feeling rushed. This is the kind of place you could come with a group and spend hours eating, laughing, drinking wine. Our pasta dish was SO GOOD, handmade pasta really makes an impact. The price seemed reasonable given the area and the high quality of food and service. We will most definitely be back!“

“My wife and I were visiting Atlanta this week. My wife just looked it up accidentally and what a find it was. The staff was amazingly friendly even the general manager stopped by our table a couple of times. The pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. And their dessert cinnamon sugar covered donuts with salted caramel ice cream was amazing. It was more of a cross between donuts and beignets.“

Their patio is big with plenty of space for kids to run around. Easy to find parking in their lot and you’re surrounded right next to the Candler Park market if you feel like getting dessert or any grocery shopping.

It’s our go-to pizza place and if I had to recommend one ATL pizza shop off the top of my head so Dave Portnoy could rate their slices , I would proudly say Fellini’s on McClendon would always be it.“

The pizza by the slice means we can stop in any time. Monday night trivia is fun. You can take your pet and eat outside. We’d like more draft beer choices that are not IPAs.“

“Yesterday, went to Antico/Tucker to order a pizza - I forgot my wallet and advised them as such, while I figured out how to pay via digital. My credit card got hacked so that was out - I asked if they took Cash App or Venmo, they advised yes. While I am sorting how to pay via Cash App, they advised no need to pay, they will give me the food for free. BTW I ordered a margarita and salad - I said no I will pay... they were like, "WHY ARE YOU MESSING UP OUR GIFT OF GIVING?" I responded that I accepted their gift, however I am going to get my sister's card and pay. I came back and insisted on paying... they heavily discounted my order... I heavily applied the maximum tip... I LOVE when there is such beauty in humanity. “Being a Brooklyn native, I’m a huge pizza snob, and frankly my experience with pizza in Atlanta has been underwhelming to say the least. I’ve seen that some places in the city tend to lean on the size of their pizzas as almost a gimmick, however their crust is typically bland and the pizza lacks character.

I’m so glad to now have Brainwave in my life to satisfy my pizza cravings. Their crust is sourdough, making it exceptionally flavorful and their topping options are unique and delicious. Their pizza is also pretty affordable, much cheaper than places nearby. My friend was able to get two slices of cheese for $8, which was a great value for an entire meal.

They also offer bar pies and Detroit pan pizzas as well, though I’m partial to the classic New York slice as that’s what I grew up on.

I’ve been in 5-6 times now and I was surprised to see any negative reviews as I believe this place is a true hidden gem. I’ll be eating here as much as I can until Portnoy shows up and there’s a line out the door!“
