I chose the coconut soft serve in a matcha waffle cone, which was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return for the ginger beer float—yes, you read that correctly! “The weather was nice, the friends were out for a stroll after a morning of volunteering, what better reasons to stop into Big Softie for a cool treat! LoL. As I walked in my senses were attacked by fresh smells of sweet cream and fresh waffle cones. To say I was instantly excited would be an understatement. I was overjoyed by the instant memories of childhood and the local ice cream parlor. The nostalgia was free with my order. Ha! Walking up to the cashier to order, the young lady was very nice and greeted me with a smile. As I was the last of the group to order I knew what I wanted. I partook in a small vanilla on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles (jimmies where I’m from). I placed my order, provided my name, and stood to the side. Once my order was ready, my name was called and my excitement started all over again. The ice cream was perfectly sculpted. It looked as if every sprinkle was perfectly placed and the ice cream to cone ratio was perfecttttttttttttttttttt. I’m one who bites the top of the swirl off first and upon FIRST BITE… I was planning my next visit back. LoL. Fresh Ice Cream Fresh Cone Super Fresh Sprinkles And best of all, the cream to sugar ratio was algebraically perfect. It’s official. I’ll be back in two weeks for my next fix. Dare I say, Big Softie is now in my Top 5 for Ice Cream, and #1 for Soft Serve. Do yourself a favor and get you some. 🥳“

“So this spot has been in Fayetteville for awhile apparently and I didn't know it. My husband and I stopped by and I sampled pineapple and we ended up getting cherry and strawberry lemonade. Deeeelicious! Customer service was great too. I returned within 15 minutes with one of my sons and I got an additional flavor (mango with Tajin) -you gotta try it! My son was very pleased with his Sour Apple/Sour Rainbow combo. I know I'll be back, I must try all the flavors by the end of the summer. Flavor, excellent. Texture/consistency, superb!“

Although the creamery doesn't service the public, there's was this ANGEL that answered the door. Mrs. Ray assisted me in locating a store nearby, and she made sure the next time one of her drivers serviced that particular store, they would have gallons of my requested ice cream. Boy oh boy! I was walking from the botanical gardens to the Ponce market and saw this cute shop at the start of the BeltLine trail.
I tried 3 of their vegan gelatos which were all good, they have surprising flavours like basil line and celery! I finally decided to get a peach shake, it was delicious. They also offer a 15% student discount on weekdays which is a bonus!

“Such a lovely experience. The ice cream was delightful. I had the butter pecan. The Best I've ever had. Smoothies are good. I had a strawberry mango. For the ice cream, you can do a single or double scoop with a cup or come option.

Service was wonderful as well. Although there was a long line, they moved through very quickly and had service with a smile. The food and service were so great I had to return a second day. Will definitely visit whenever in the area.“
