“We’ve been coming here since 2006 when our family first moved to town, and it’s been our go-to spot ever since. The owners are so kind and welcoming, and the food is always consistent and delicious. Some of our family favorites are the chicken or shrimp fried rice, chicken egg foo young, lo mein, chicken wings, chicken chow mein, and Szechuan beef. We recently ordered takeout for a large family gathering and were so impressed that Sun Garden was able to prepare halal dishes for the order. It’s truly a neighborhood gem that we’ll keep coming back to for years to come! Their chili oil is also amazing!!“

“Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). “Best Chop Suey ever“

“Came here on a Friday night and wasn't expecting much but boy was I pleasantly surprised. The server was very polite and quick, as soon as we pick up the menu to order more, she was already at the table. The meats were savory but the vegetables were very fresh, we order the spinach 3 times cuz tasted so good. I have to mention the chili blue crab and it was so delicious and has a nice spicy kick. Only thing we didn't like was the mashed shrimpball paste, was too much starch added and tasted like jelly. There so many items on menu it's impossible to eat all in one settings. We will definitely be coming back for more.“

“I ordered takeout and got the pork intestine in dry pot, along with some hot and sour soup. The food was delicious! The dry pot was very flavorful, hearty and aromatic, perfect for a rainy day. I believe they use Szechuan peppercorn with this, as I had that nice mouth-numbing sensation. It could have been a little spicier for my liking, but that is my only remark (and I understand why they might take it easy on the spice to be safe).

The hot and sour soup was also yummy. It is one of my favorite dishes to order at a Chinese restaurant. I am pleased to say this is one of the better ones I've had! We'll definitely have to come dine in at some point in the future.“

“The restaurant was clean, and we were seated right away. Service was fast, and the wait staff were very attentive. I was slightly disappointed in the lunch menu, as it was your typical chinese menu entrees. They did have an extensive sushi menu, and the dinner menu offered a variety of different items. The food was good, portion sizes were average. Overall, not an exceptional experience, just average across the board.“

“Good quality, decent, real food for extremely low cost. $1.60 per serving. Personally, I am addicted to their Hot and Sour soup. Lg takes me the day to finish, it’s packed with veggies and tofu, for $5. I prefer the pork egg roll over the spring rolls. My guy LOVES the chicken with broccoli. For me, it’s a little too much soy sauce, but, I have developed an aversion to salt, so I believe that’s just me. I like their sesame chicken, and seafood medley. And, I need to try the rest. I had a Bella mushroom chicken that I enjoyed. They don’t skimp on meat or mushrooms. Chicken and broccoli is about 1/2 and 1/2, half chicken, half lightly steamed broccoli. For the price, I HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“I aint gonna hold you....this the closest you gonna get to NY in the area. I decided to try it out randomly. Wings and pork fried rice. The taste is def there but one thing that was kind of off is if you chop the wings in half shouldnt it be 8 pieces? I only got 6. Anyway the price is reasonable. I also got a shrimp egg roll but it was just ok. Def a pick up only spot, no eating there.“

The wings tasted exactly like the ones I have been searching for since childhood with the same crisp and the same comforting flavor that felt like a memory brought back to life. The spicy Thai chicken can be ordered with shrimp. And they also have Mongolian chicken. “Let me start by saying that I’ve been dining at this restaurant for many years, and this is the first time I’ve left feeling genuinely disappointed. I’m not sure if there has been a change in the kitchen, but the food quality and flavor were not what I’ve come to expect.

The hot & sour soup, which used to be a favorite, tasted very bland. The garlic chicken, normally rich and savory, came across more like poached chicken and vegetables with very little seasoning. No one at our table had dietary restrictions, yet the dishes tasted as if much of the flavor had been removed.

I’m also unsure if this was a distribution issue, but my fortune cookie tasted stale, and the fortunes we received referenced months that had already passed, which raised some concerns about freshness.

That said, the staff was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The service itself was great. Unfortunately, the food quality has declined noticeably since our last visit, and because of that, we’re unsure whether we’ll be back.“

“This is definitely a takeout joint but I refuse to take away points for restaurants on atmosphere when that’s not their focus. The food was amazing and prepared fresh and quick. “Very good, and the owner is kind and professional. My only gripe is the lack of consistency. I order the same thing every single time and each time it's like a different person made it. Sometimes spicy and crispy, sometimes mild and the chicken you usually see with the sweet and sour. Still good though just wish it was the same every time I order.“

My daughter and I got wontons, teriyaki beef skewers, chicken fried rice, and General Tso’s chicken. Everything was delicious - the Gen. Tso’s chicken was beautifully fried. I get Mu Shu beef typically, I ask them to go light on the sauce, it was really salty otherwise, but I am salt sensitive so it might just be me ?‍♀️? but when they go light on the sauce, it’s perfect and one of the best places I’ve gotten this dish from. “I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

“The wings were small and a bit dry, which seems to be the trend with most small Chinese spots these days. Times have definitely changed.

That said, the wings were packed with flavor, the fried rice was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food was hot and fresh when it came out.

I ordered the 8-piece lemon pepper wings with house fried rice and a drink for $18. It’s a bit pricey, but given the current times, it’s understandable.“
