“We had a fantastic first time at LanZhou. The hand made noodle dishes where amazing and the Pork Fried Buns were so good! The portions are huge and we definitely had to take more food. The chicken fried rice and Ramen blew us away. The wait was short because we just missed the rush, after 7pm you WILL have to wait for a table. The popularity of this place is obvious. The service and food were worth driving to Buford Hwy for. Also, they have a new location in Kennesaw we are excited about. In 2923 they got "Recommended" by Michelin Guide, now we know why.“

I know it's traditionally more of a breakfast, brunch item. But sometimes i crave it at 7pm. Service is what you expect from a dim sum place. It's not great or bad. Usually always get water right away and hot tea if you request it. Order your food and they leave you alone until you need something. They all work together , so just ask anyone if you need something extra. It is cleaner than most other dim sum around the area. During brunch it's packed pretty tightly with all the carts rolling around. Dinner is more spaced out and less people for sure. Top items that i order: Shrimp shumai Shrimp dumpling Scallop and shrimp dumpling Spicy chicken feet Spicy pork rib Beef tripe LOTUS LEAF STICKY RICE (absolutely must try if you haven't!) Golden Buddah was a favorite of mine for a while (Buford & Decatur), but the flavor profiles & price of the dishes at Suxian are unmatched. The fried rice alone is seasoned so well. She loves the sautéed green beans. No matter what other vendor we as a family order our food, we always come get the green beans here as a side. The flavor is light and clean and the bean still have a slight crunch to them and taste oh so fresh! I suppose that is the advantage most of the restaurants here in the food court have considering there is a farmers market attached just next door! The SINGAPORE FUN MEI is also pretty good, but if I'm being honest, I've had much better versions of this dish at other restaurants. There menu is large, so I hope to try many more items in the future. Also, it might be worth noting the ladies working here are among the nicest I've come across. Very accommodating and give you a sense of eagerness to earn your business. The food court is divided into two sides with plenty of communal seating which is great for social distancing on not so busy days. I'm not exactly sure of all the ethnicities represented in the food court, but to me it feels like a Tour of Southeast Asia. Common areas are clean and the bathrooms are spacious and nice.
