“Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). “Very clean and simple layout featuring a sushi bar as you walk in and both indoor and outdoor seating.

We were greeted quickly and shown to a table immediately.

Our complete order ended up being: 2 waters, 1 cold green tea, 5 rolls, 1 Chef's Nigiri, and 2 Green Tea Ice Creams.

We were presented with miso soup to begin, along with kimchi, shredded daikon, marinated broccoli, and pickled onion.

Loved that they gave us soup spoons and chopsticks without the usual fork, knife, and spoon.

For the rolls we ordered Garlic Crunch Roll, Hide and Seek Roll, Mango Tango Roll, Volcano Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll.

Nigiri was fresh and their rice was good.

I don't know where/who they get the green tea ice cream from, but it was the perfect ending for the meal.

Have easily spent the same amount at flashier, popular sushi places and gotten lower quality, so this was a solid homerun in our book.“

Things I loved:
Ramen was flavorful, Sushi was immaculate, Thai tea was the perfect addition to the meal

I will say, if you are not a fan of cucumber, the Naruto roll is not for you. Otherwise, everything was great especially for the price!

Stopped in on a whim and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The menu is huge—six full pages of sushi rolls alone, plus ramen, rice dishes, udon, lo mein, and plenty more. The drink selection is just as impressive, with beer, wine, sake, a variety of teas, and other options.

We only tried three items this visit, but we’ll definitely be back to explore more.

Pimp Daddy Roll:
Shrimp tempura and cream cheese, topped with avocado, spicy imitation crab, eel sauce, and crunch. This roll was made fresh and really delivered—crispy tempura, sweet eel sauce, and great texture throughout. Fantastic.

Crab Rangoon:
Fresh, hot, and a step above your typical Chinese takeout version. The sauce was especially good—more like a sweet chili sauce rather than the usual overly sweet red sauce.

Shrimp Fried Rice:
A solid, well-executed classic. The shrimp were fresh and perfectly cooked, the rice was tender and well-seasoned, and it included fresh vegetables and scallions. Simple and satisfying.

Overall, a great first visit with lots of promise. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.“

We came here for AYCE sushi and the food was honestly really good — fresh fish and the rice portion was not overly heavy (which I really appreciate compared to some other sushi places). Everything tasted clean and well-balanced.

That said, the service wasn’t very welcoming. There wasn’t much greeting or friendliness, and when we asked a simple question about holiday pricing, the response felt a bit cold and rushed. The food also came out automatically, so there wasn’t much table service besides clearing plates.

Overall, great sushi quality and a solid AYCE option, but I wish the customer service was warmer. I’d still come back for the food, just with lower expectations on service.“

“We went to Sakégura for the first time yesterday to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we had an all around wonderful experience!! We initially had a 6pm reservation for a party of 8 but needed to adjust the time earlier at the last minute. They graciously accommodated and were most welcoming and attentive to our family. Everything was set up, including the high chair, when we entered, and the service was expedient, efficient and exceptional. Very, very friendly and professional team. As a family with diverse dietary restrictions, we appreciated the careful attention to ensure clarity when taking our orders. The hibachi chef was also superb, taking time to engage the kids, acknowledge my hubby's birthday and verify the details of each order. The food was perfectly cooked to order with generous portions. Overall, it was one of the absolute best dining experiences we've had in a while. We've lived in the area for five years, and I've shopped in this area regularly but have never tried Sakégura. “Do I even have to say much? This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants and not even all the fancy overpriced ones in downtown Atlanta can beat this one. Everything on the menu is good and I mean everything. My favorite is the lobster fried rice, bagel rolls, pad thai, pad si ew, panang curry, I could go on. I took my Vietnamese family here and mind you my mom is a great cook and my parents are strong food critics but they absolutely loved it. Unfortunately after the pandemic, they’ve been raising the prices due to inflation but everything is fresh and great portions. You won’t regret it, trust me on this one.“

“Ninja Steakhouse in Braselton is one of those rare spots that’s always reliable and always delicious. My wife’s go-to is the steak (sometimes she adds shrimp), and I stick to chicken with double fried rice—they put bacon in the rice, and it’s amazing. We usually double up on the ginger salads because they’re that good. Sushi is a great starter here when we’re in the mood. Service is top-notch, and we’re usually seated within 5–10 minutes even on weekend nights. Can’t recommend it enough!“
