Oakwood Cafe Reviews
The food is delicious, and the service is great! Love the home cooked style menu that also has sandwiches, salads, soup and breakfast options. The desserts, yum.
I don’t like to leave a poor review, however our experience was quite disappointing. Here’s my list of issues. My breakfast came with bacon, I never received any. Asked for toast well done, it was just bread that saw a toaster for maybe 10 seconds. None of our toast was buttered, and no butter/jam jelly was offered. No cream was offered for coffee and no refills offered either. The waiter was nice, but was too busy to give proper service. Overall it was disappointing
Fast, friendly, and the food was great.

Oakwood Cafe is a breakfast spot that serves excellent food with awesome service. Visitors from out of town have praised its warm hospitality and comfort food, with fast and attentive servers making for a perfect dining experience. The corn casserole is a must-try, along with the honey mustard, fried onions, and chicken. The staff is very attentive, and the food is consistently amazing. Many guests have enjoyed dishes like the turkey Cuban sandwich and veggie plate with beans, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and squash casserole. The fried okra is often praised as being fresh and not frozen, and the coleslaw is considered some of the best—finely cut and a little sweet. The restaurant is casual, very nice, and clean, making it a great place for a good lunch or breakfast. It is also known for its country cooking and daily specials, which many find to be wonderful and well-seasoned. The prices are affordable, offering great value for homemade recipes. The staff is hospitable and hardworking, creating a welcoming atmosphere that embodies southern hospitality. While there may be occasional inconsistencies with hours of operation, Oakwood Cafe remains a wonderful place to eat and is definitely worth a visit.
