“Although the dining area is small, the food is what is of most interest here! The wings are only one of the stars at this small, unassuming eatery! I tried the sweet and sour wings, which are made to order, and from what I've heard, their lemon-pepper wings are the stuff of legend, as they have been featured in Bon Appetit' twice! I also enjoyed their Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb had a spicy kick, and the rice was flavorful and tasty. Will definitely be back for other dishes!“

“We love sushi and had eaten at all the nicest sushi restaurants in Atlanta except for this one, so we decided to try it. We had the premium omakase and it was AMAZING. This was both of our favorite experience - usually I prefer more fun and flavorful rolls (ie like Eight) and my husband likes his sushi more pared down (ie Tomo, Nobu, Mujo), but the sushi struck the perfect balance of letting the fish shine without being boring, adding a hint of flavor to enhance. I never eat wasabi but the wasabi relish was incredible - I put on every bite! John, our server, was professional and personable and made our dinner very special - great recs and accommodations! We usually dine out on special occasions (bdays, anniversaries) and it’s not uncommon for it to go unrecognized.. this was the opposite experience. Just a night out but it felt very special. We also loved the vibe- not stuffy or pretentious (some babies even which I don’t think is common but we didn’t care, they didn’t detract!) while maintaining high caliber of service and food. Overall, 10/10 and we will definitely be back. Our new favorite sushi restaurant!“

“Larakin is by far my favorite wine bar. Great vibe and love sitting outside lifted up from the street. When I’m there it feels like I’m at European bar enjoy my walkable urban lifestyle. We had to park somewhere and pay for the parking. Their food was good but I wanted siracha sauce or something spicy they only had the spicy oil no sauces of any type! “This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! I also had a spicy margarita and their crème brûlée for dessert. My total experience was amazing! Will definitely be back!“

“Caveat. I'm a professional chef of 30+ years. Visited Atlanta in May 2022 and had our last dinner here with Friends. Got a reservation online easily, waited a couple minutes while our table was prepared. We ordered a number of Tapas to share. Staff did a good job bringing them in a timely manner. Interesting wine list. We ordered a terrific Txacholi (sp?) at a reasonable price. Dishes were all pretty classic Spanish - Ocotpus was good and tender, The chorizo with sweet and sour figs held promise but was a little too sweet and sour. Croquettas were yummy. Everyone at the table loved the child carrots with pistachios. Will say that ambient noise was very disconcerting - hard to hear my dinner guests at the table - lots of hard surfaces made the busy dining room VERY loud. But ultimately we enjoyed our dinner there. Good Service.“

The atmosphere, service, and drinks are quite good, and overall it's worth a visit if you're lodging.The bar itself is not that big: there's less than ten seats in the bar. The lounge area is much bigger, and it even has access to the outside pool area.While they have a limited selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails are quite good, and definitely their strong point.I ordered two tacos with a side of Mac and Cheese and a local beer on tap. It took a long time, about twenty five minutes to come out, and it wasn't particularly busy. Despite the wait, the food was pretty good!“
