“My first time here and it was a great experience. The owner was kind and patient, entertaining my million questions about the menu. He let me sample the chicken curry, goat curry, & even the fish & eggplant fish dish he made for staff lunch. The curry was delicious but too spicy for my tolerance level. I got the lamb kabab kati roll, garlic teriyaki wings & fried rice (lunch special), & vegetable samosa. Everything was made to order so it's hot and fresh. The kati roll was like a foot long. The flavor wasn't what I'm used to but I still inhaled it so no pics. I was too full to eat the rest. My only complaint is how hot and small the place was so it's not ideal for dine-in. Come with an open mind if you never had Deshi food before.“

“We had a big party here and our server was doing a fabulous job. It was just her for our large tables so I asked the bartender if I could order a glass of wine from him. He told me I needed to wait for my waitress. I then see him bring a cocktail to a man at our table. What would you call this? The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend coming here for sure. Next time I’ll dress like a man so the bartender will serve me.“

“I went for a solo dinner. The hostess sat me at a table (rare for a solo diner but so so appreciated). I ordered the patatas bravas, gambas al aijilo and the ravioli de pato. Also got a mocktail. The drink was absolutely delicious! I cannot rave about the food enough. I’ve been to Spain 3 different times and this food was just as good or better than a lot of what i ate there. The dishes reflect different regions of the country beautifully and i will be thinking about that ravioli for a minute. My server was incredible. I will absolutely be here again. 10/10 dining experience.“

“Overall very flavorful food. The hummus was excellent, featuring high quality oil and really good pita to go along with it. The lamb kabobs were huge and really well seasoned. Greek potatoes were also cooked perfectly, well seasoned and crispy. Tatziki sauce also was really good. Prices are a little steep for some of their plates, but there were some less expensive options available as well. The quality here is a lot higher, however, compared to lower priced mediterranean restaurants in the area.“

“I took my mom here for Mother's Day for a group of 4+ a baby. ( not so much space for a stroller so it's really not recommended to take small babies ) the place is pretty small .I'll start by saying that overall it was good, food was amazing , service was good the server was very attentive and the place it's also pretty quiet not loud which it was very nice. I did make a reservation to avoid wait time, unfortunately when we got there it took about 5 minutes for someone to greet us and ask for the reservation details, waiters seemed pretty busy with other tables , but when I told them the reservation name, they did not have a table ready for me and my family so we waited another 5 minutes, so total time to be seated took about 10 minutes. So I guess making a reservation was useless.I'll recommend you calling ahead of time to avoid this happening to anyone and assuring that they have your table ready. I'll be back :)“

“This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! “This is a wonderful hotel bar in the lobby of Aloft Atlanta. The food is quite tasty, not extraordinary, but better than your average pub. The atmosphere, service, and drinks are quite good, and overall it's worth a visit if you're lodging.The bar itself is not that big: there's less than ten seats in the bar. The lounge area is much bigger, and it even has access to the outside pool area.While they have a limited selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails are quite good, and definitely their strong point.I ordered two tacos with a side of Mac and Cheese and a local beer on tap. It took a long time, about twenty five minutes to come out, and it wasn't particularly busy. Despite the wait, the food was pretty good!“

“Caveat. I'm a professional chef of 30+ years. Visited Atlanta in May 2022 and had our last dinner here with Friends. Got a reservation online easily, waited a couple minutes while our table was prepared. We ordered a number of Tapas to share. Staff did a good job bringing them in a timely manner. Interesting wine list. We ordered a terrific Txacholi (sp?) at a reasonable price. Dishes were all pretty classic Spanish - Ocotpus was good and tender, The chorizo with sweet and sour figs held promise but was a little too sweet and sour. Croquettas were yummy. Everyone at the table loved the child carrots with pistachios. Will say that ambient noise was very disconcerting - hard to hear my dinner guests at the table - lots of hard surfaces made the busy dining room VERY loud. But ultimately we enjoyed our dinner there. Good Service.“

Hubby and I came for both breakfast and then dinner at the bar.
Breakfast was the strata and the parfait that were both quite nice. There is a breakfast caveat at the bottom to avoid at all costs!
Dinner at the bar was good! Casual and better than standard bar fare.
Hubby had the Margherita pizza and I had a new pimento cheese sandwich.
The stand outs were the bread in both. Often that us an afterthought but not here. Amazing!
I added tomato to the pimento cheese sandwich which was needed as it is rich.
Tip: if you like your fries with some color, ask ahead for them to be crispier.
Item to AVOID AT ALL COSTS:
The grits at breakfast should not be legal in the state of Georgia. Watery, no fat or seasoning. Wimpy to be honest. Really, just take em off of the menu as they aren't doing this establishment any good.
On an up note: shockingly the smoked gouda grits at night were PROPER. Stone ground, fatty, cheesy. Perfection.
I am confused: same kitchen and two different grits? Please serve the p.m. grits in the a.m.“
