“The fact that I have to compare the day and night team is astounding. I understand that people get busy and I understand the lunch rush hour is crazy, but to be brushed off and not listen to is something that I do not appreciate. I never have an issue with the customer service at night, although sometimes the orders may come out wrong, they still are very friendly and know how to handle their customers. I cannot say the same for the daytime. They are usually rude and do not listen. I was trying to use a offer I had for the Wendy's app and told them I wanted to redeem it at the register. It seemed like my request was taken but when I received my items and was charged full price for what I got, I tried to correct the issue with patience and understanding. They were getting busy but I didn't have the time to come back later and let them know what happened. I was flat out told I had what I paid for. End of story. I didn't even get a chance to explain, a second time, that I had a coupon. The attitude was: Do not care, next in line. This happened today by the way. 3pm. What ever happened to "Hey we're a little backed up but if you come inside and bring your receipt, let's see what's going on. Show me your offer and let's work it out." I've been in customer service jobs for years. Is that kind of customer service dead in 2024?“
