“My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch date today on our travels to the VA for an appointment. It was our first time visiting Holy Smokes and we were greeted by a respectful young man when we arrived. We’ve eaten a lot of bbq over the years, and it takes some stellar Que to impress me…. This place has the goods! We tried some of the pork, brisket, chicken, and a few of the sides, everything we had was excellent. The brisket speaks for itself, I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but it’s top notch! Definitely will be making this a regular stop on future trips. Excellent customer service!“

“This is such a cute homey feeling spot. When I walked in, I was greeted, and all of the interactions were very gentle and kind. They don’t just let you sit in silence, they actually converse with you and the food sooo good. Very nostalgic. I love that. This is a family owned and family kept business. I will definitely be going back when they have mac & cheese lol“

“My steak was cooked medium with pink Center and very juicy. The shrimp on skewer were succulent. The rice pilaf was seasoned just right. My waitress LaTasha was on point. Parking was plentiful and the atmosphere was family environment on that Thurday night. No complaints, I will return and I definitely recommend.“

“Our group of 5 celebrating a birthday was excited about the Deano’s experience! We had reservations and were called timely. Our server KiKi was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials, as well as taking care of each request, always with a smile. Food was wonderful! Chicken Marseille and Salmon along with specialty salads were our choices. As we exited, each employee we met spoke as if old friends! Great job Deanos’s!“
