I routinely get the mac n cheeses and coleslaw to go for family outings and get togethers. Today I had ribs, tender and delicious, man n cheese (always killer!) and brisket chili which was really tasty! I like that they don’t try and re-invent anything, they just produce excellent tasting food. As I sat eating lunch, I was struck by how many people came in to pick up a to go order presumably for some big event. The exact thing I was doing. Food is fantastic!!“

The food is fresh, they smoke all their meat daily and they use locally sourced produce. They have a full bar. We shared the OG Salmon Chips - house smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, red onion & capers on house made potato chips (piucured) they are a little pricey at $16 for 5 servings but are piled high with fresh salmon so we weren't disappointed (they were great). We also had a Garden Chopped Bowl - (thick cut) house bacon, hard boiled egg, corn, red onion, tomato, avocado, bleu cheese and added Pulled Pork (pictured). Very good, highly recommend!“

“I could write an article on DAS but I have to keep it brief. I understand how to create irresistible atmospheres, hospitable service and consider myself a foodie as I intermittent fast daily and eat once a day. My meals are important. I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

“Food truck; they were about to close, but went ahead and let me place my order. I had some kind of Shrimp w/ sauce, some type of rice recipe and steamed cabbage (love cabbage). I am not familiar with Jamaican food, but it seemed pretty genuine. The Shrimp was the best I have had anywhere (better than a fancy restaurant, seriously). They were cooked perfectly, and were very large and still tasted great (very impressed with the size, how they were cooked and the quantity of food). I ordered the Combo 1. I got to try their pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, fried okra, and Mac. The pulled pork is very tender with flavor. The sliced brisket has the most flavor but it is pretty tough. The chicken has decent flavor but better texture. The fried okra was extremely good. I would come here just for that. The Mac is decent. I like their assortment of BBQ sauces. I mix the sweet with the heat.“

“We were passing through Roswell on 3/28/25 and found this place about 30 minutes before they closed. They gladly fed us and everything was fantastic. “Some a y’all may remember that I lived in Hong Kong for 2 years, and this past Thanksgiving, I decided what I wanted a smoked Duck (especially since the price of an 8-10 lb Heritage turkey was about $150)!😡😡

We heard about HK BBQ from a colleague, and after checking around on cost, this one was THE most reasonable. Whole roasted Duck ($31.99) Half Duck ($16.89) if you’re just curious and want to try. Ducks hang in the window so you can pick out the one you want.

So, a couple things: You can buy the duck, but they don’t sell the “pancakes”. I asked.
The owner, who was very nice told me, “That’s how they do it in Hong Kong, we don’t sell it that way here.” I thought that was curious.. u kno.. since you named your business HK BBQ🙄🤷🏼‍♀️😂

The duck was excellent (even though we didn’t have the pancakes)!
I want to take a moment to mention the facility that the cafe is located in: as you approach the restaurant/cafe there’s a beautiful sitting area that brings the outside in (as you’d expect in Asia). It’s very serene and a nice enclave to have lunch if you have time to stop.

HK BBQ is located in a food court. There are a few other cafes in the court, but from what I saw, they didn’t seem as popular, as HK BBQ were the only ones with a line.

The last thing I’ll say is that their menu is QUITE extensive! It’s two sided, separated by a black and white side. If you dig Chinese food, you’ll have a ball going through this menu!“
