“People were nice and food was terrific. Apparently the server has only been there two weeks and she's super sweet. The Commander (espresso martini) was pretty much perfect. The fish and chips were really good, and was not a ridiculously large portion like many places. The baked cookie is something I will dream about tonight I think. It is Wednesday so not crowded. But there was a table next to ours that had to YELL their conversation so loudly it was painful. We will absolutely be back. But I will bring earplugs just in case“

“Much better dining options than Dunwoody’s previous Food Hall attempt. I sampled an item off of the menu from three different vendors—all were good, had generous portion sizes, and friendly service. The only thing that I’d like to see added to the Hall is a desert option. Is it possible to incorporate the likes of Pressed Waffle, a gourmet cookie shop, or for-yo? IJS, what about the icing on the cake?🤣🤣“

“We eat here at lease once a week and they never disappoint! The food is always fresh with large portions and everything we have had is always tasty and has a home made taste! We love that they give you a huge salad with a pasta meal and it is so large we usually keep it and eat it for lunch or dinner the next day! We also get to go often, and they always are accurate on the orders which is so important on to go! They are generous with their portions and give tons of salad dressing and don't charge extra for every little thing! They also have delicious toasted garlic bread!“

“This review is directly addressed to “Sly Character” aka Dunwoody Karen.
This Karen, who was a drunk sitting at the bar, felt it necessary to go table to table and tell everyone she had kids and would never let them act this way and I agreed with her that in normal situations, no parent lets them “run” around the restaurant. However, as she pointed out, it was spirit night and there was 60+ kids there…not running around but walking to other tables eating food and socializing with their friends.
Thank you Mellow for allowing us to host spirit night at your restaurant. I hope it brought great revenue to you and tips for the hardworking servers.

Giving a 1 star review and hurting a restaurants reputation shows your level of maturity and does not reflect the community of Dunwoody; the place you have called home for 18 years. I look forward to the opportunity to dine with you in the future, but in the meantime, might I suggest just picking up a 12 pack and eating at home so you don’t have mid range food and service.“

“I had some extra time this afternoon. My son had a football game tonight and I had a some extra time so I decided to check this place out. The only problem was that I didn’t know the code! So I went into the phone booth and stood there hoping the door would magically open! It didn’t. So I got out of the phone booth feeling hungry and disappointed. I looked around for a minute and a very nice lady said “can I help you, sir?” I told her my situation and she told me that is was supposed to have a code. I told her that I knew that but could not find it. She informed me that a member is supposed to give it to me or one of the local hotels. She said, but i’ll let you in. Go stand in the phone booth. So she let me in and then she showed me around. I sat at the bar, ordered a beer and the Chicken Alfredo. Both were awesome as was the service and atmosphere. I will be back! Thank you to the lady that helped me and the staff in general. I enjoyed myself!“

“We had an amazing experience tonight at C&S Brookhaven. Simonia was our server. She was friendly, professional, and set the tone for our dinner. She made recommendations and did not rush us. With drinks and appetizers served, she checked on us and gave us time to enjoy our first course before taking our main entree order. We started with grilled oysters, clam chowder, and a salad. I had swordfish with peppercorn sauce, which was outstanding. My spouse had the branzino. We ate slowly, enjoyed a yummy Sancerre, and had great conversation. Simonia checked on us often. Thank you C&S for a terrific dining experience. As residents of Brookhaven, we will be back for more.“

“The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. We will be back. 💯“

“Party of 7 fit well with more than enough space in the large room. Well stocked bar and nice clean bathrooms.
While the karaoke books are convenient, they're not the most up to date with English songs. But plenty of options for Korean, Japanese, Chinese - I think I even saw Russian?
For more modern songs, the TV in our room could show YouTube, but be prepared to type a lot on the remote.
Overall a good middle cost karaoke place.“

“Super divey spot. If you don't like the smell of a dive bar and the dark atmosphere this might not be for you. The wings were AMAZING and they were priced extremely well. The bartender was super nice too. Definitely come thru and have some wings and beer sometime. You won't be disappointed.“

“The band After School Special was a really fun and very talented 90’s cover band. We were very impressed. The food was also excellent and we had brick oven pizza and bbq with yummy sides. Also loved the Bloody Mary! A great time and full bellies - what more can you ask for? Oh and just an aside what a lovely bathroom!“

“While in Atlanta visiting family, we took a walk on the around the Battery. Who can pass up Fat Tuesdays? Not us! We had to grab a drink to walk around with........... in the middle of June.
Not sure if it was the employee or someone else close by, but while ordering the drinks the entire bar smelled of marijuana! It was all consuming and VERY potent!
We ordered 3 drinks and quickly left the area! We had two children with us that shouldn't have ever been exposed to marijuana, one just a few weeks old!
Terrance D. the employee running the bar at the time was extremely helpful and very polite. I took his recommendations and got the 190 octane! My group also got the cat 5 hurricane & fruit punch. All of them were VERY good!!!!!!!!!!!

“This is a great place. I wonder how I missed it since the last 3 years. Great drinks and a great atmosphere. They allow outside food and our dogs also. Great vibe yet very peaceful. There is a lot of variety of alcoholic drinks, they are very fresh. Unfortunately for me only one non-alcoholic drink is available - root beer. But I loved this drink. A lot of games are available. Lovely dogs to play with. The owner lady is very lovely and friendly. I recommend this place 100%“

Our team of 20 visited for a midweek team building night out, and the moment we arrived, we were swept into the spirit of the Prohibition era. From the check-in process to the secret entrance (you’ll want to know where to look and what to say), this venue delivers on ambiance and theme.
Descending the stairs felt like stepping into another time. Rich wood tones, sultry lighting and a live band that brought the room to life. For a Tuesday night? The energy was electric and the space was packed! “It’s been a while since I have been to Black Bear Tavern. To my surprise, EVERYTHING is still amazing. Black Bear still provides a casual very laid-back type of environment. This was perfect as my friends and I had a long week and just wanted to partake in great laughs with great food… Upon walking in, the bartender welcomed us and advised us to sit where we would like. All of the empty tables were clean which made me very happy. LoL! Once seated, our waitress came over and greeted each of us with a warm smile and a pleasant welcome. With a traditional American Bar menu setup, we didn’t require too much time to figure out what we wanted. I decided on the Southwestern Egg Rolls as my App and the Swiss and Bacon Burger as my Main! Hear Me When I Say…. Wowsersssssssssssssss!! The Southwestern Egg Rolls are packed with meat and veggies. These are not the kind of egg rolls you find in your grocer's freezer. Along with being a great portion, they were fried to golden perfection. Being set at the perfect temperature makes for a super enjoyable experience. Warm and perfectly cooked insides surrounded by Golden Fried Goodness put me in a place of tastebud-pleasing bliss. I want some more just thinking about them. LoL! The Bacon and Swiss is HUGEEEEEEEEEE… Just like I needed it to be. There is nothing like a Moist, Meaty, Well Done Burger on a Friday. Furthermore, the fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles allow for a perfect first bite. I decided to pair my burger with Tater Tots (well done) and they literally melted in my mouth. I’m talking golden fried potatoes, lightly salted, still hot as I dipped them in the room temperature ketchup! This is how you Friday Night in the Atl. LoL! Overall, I left full, pleased with the service, and to top it all off… I had food for the next day. Oh yes… I had leftovers!!! LoL!!!“
