“Ever since I’d had the chance to try a cake someone purchased from here in college, I’ve dreamt of visiting myself. And what a stunning set of baked goods housed within this gem!

I chose the Black Forest Cake, nested in the corner of one of the fridges among the stacks of goodies in this packed bakery. After wanting a Black Forest for so long, this hit the spot. What stunning, perfectly sized pieces of cake this place offers! The whipped topping pairs perfectly with the denser cream layers near the bottom in the Black Forest, and separating the layers of cream sits a light, moist chocolate sponge that ties this dessert together into a delectable sweet treat.

For $3.50 per slice (keep in mind, still, a slice here is smaller than that a typical bakery’s slice - yet filling, nonetheless), I would definitely recommend visiting!“

I tried lots of it though it was breakfast?
The sandwiches were so fresh and yummy as well as coffee was very nice, I got latte with almond milk.
I ordered Portobello and Smoky Turkey paper for sandwiches.

I would really suggest the twice baked almond croissant among them.
It’s really crispy and full taste of almond.

I would definitely revisit soonest to try other menus?

“I have never ordered from here before but I am very picky about my food especially for the prices that grubhub and uber eats charge it puts more pressure on the company to make everything perfect. “Stopped in for lunch. The place was packed, so I was excited to try the food. It was a little confusing as to where we ordered and paid as there were people everywhere. We thought there was a line for the bakery, and there was a line for the deli section, but everybody had to pay the same place and it was Confusing. The line was always super long to check out as we watched. We had a Reuben and roast beef sandwich. The onion bun was pretty dry. The Reuben was good. It wasn’t great.“

When we walked in on Saturday, March 22nd, around 4:30 PM, the young lady at the counter was glued to her phone, giving off the clear impression that we were inconveniencing her by simply being there. If that was her goal, mission accomplished.

I’m not here to judge how someone was raised, but when it comes to running a business, customer service matters. If the owner or management reviews the security footage (assuming they have one), they’ll see exactly why this employee needs serious coaching on basic client experience skills. And if she isn’t willing to grow, honestly, I wouldn’t have her working for me even for free—let alone on payroll.

Running a business is tough, and rent isn’t cheap. Hiring people with an “I’m lucky to have this job” mindset instead of an “You’re lucky I showed up” attitude is crucial. Unfortunately, the latter mentality is all too common these days.

As much as I love these cookies, I won’t be back. Dealing with attitude-filled people is already part of daily life—I’m certainly not paying for the experience on my day off.“
