“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“DELICIOUS!! When you order grits in a restaurant and they come out delicious—needing no salt, butter, or pepper—you know it’s a good place to eat!! All of our food was delicious. And the staff was sooo friendly! I wish I had taken a picture of our food but we scarfed it down! Definitely will eat here again!“

“Service was excellent, food was delicious. This place is not cheap, fyi. It was quite loud but that's because not a single chair was empty. Thank God for having parking otherwise I wouldn't come. I drive a F-150 so most roads in Atlanta are too narrow and street parking a tank is a nightmare. Happy to have valet and adjacent lot! Only disappointment was my $6 banana pudding dessert was enough to fill about a tablespoon! What?! But it sure was yummy!“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “I was very impressed by the food, service and atmosphere at Southern National. It was a great date night spot and would be great for a group of friends that want to enjoy an excellent meal. I also noted the bar looked like a lovely spot for an impromptu dinner out. The bread and ribs were AMAZING...I want the ribs every day of the week. Our mains were fantastic and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend trying out southern national!“

“Recently spent a few days in Atlanta. (Go Braves!) This was the BEST meal we had the entire time. Scott, you and your staff have my vote --- 5 star, A+ all the way. “My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

These tails would be wonderful for lobster connoisseurs and even those who just do not care for it. Why? “Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant today. After a long drive and busy morning we enjoyed the best service from Cameron . Our omelettes and pancakes were delicious. It was nice to be in a relaxed atmosphere eating fresh food and having an attentive server with a great personality taking care of us . The mimosa flight was great ! “My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Georgia Boy. Every course was amazing and the creativity of each dish blew us away. We were sent home with delicious Wonka style candy bars and gave one to our daughter Georgia (who is a huge fan of the Willy Wonka movies) and she was in awe! We will definitely be returning!“
