“JenChan’s is a friendly neighborhood hangout with an amazing menu, friendly waiters, and a wide selection of games. The food is always fantastic and the drinks are always strong & cold. I would recommend the ginger margarita slushies, the fried mushrooms, and any of the pizzas!!!“

“Went to South City for an early dinner after getting off the plane and this place does NOT disappoint. Tried the Spicy Cauliflower and Fried Green Tomatoes and both were excellent. The Fried Green Tomatoes had goat cheese put on before frying and normally I am not a fan of goat cheese… this provided a creamy texture and brine that matched perfectly with the tomatoes. My colleague got the Spicy Cauliflower and the pairings of the charred Cauliflower with the spicy peanut relish was delightful and something I’ve never experienced before. The entrees were just as good. My colleague got the Shrimp and Grits and she said it was good- the shrimp looked amazing, but I am not a fan of shrimp and grits together (though I do love them separately). I got the Springer Mountain Farms Fried Chicken and it was so tasty- not the best fried chicken I have ever had- but the collard greens and mashed potatoes may have been the best I have ever had. The chicken was very good, don’t get me wrong, but overshadowed by the amazing collard greens that were seasoned perfectly with garlic and thyme. The mashed potatoes made me feel like I was having my grandmother’s mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. Finally, I had to try the Peach Pecan Pie… I took it to go and the fresh peaches, the fresh whipped cream, and the glaze… the only thing missing was the pecans (the pie filling was pecan pie filling… but sans pecans so I get what they were doing and it was still fantastic… but a pecan or two would have put it at a 10.). Emmanuel was our server and he knew the menu backwards and forwards and was very accommodating. Loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat. Especially to try the pork chop and spoonybread!“

“DELICIOUS!! When you order grits in a restaurant and they come out delicious—needing no salt, butter, or pepper—you know it’s a good place to eat!! All of our food was delicious. And the staff was sooo friendly! I wish I had taken a picture of our food but we scarfed it down! Definitely will eat here again!“

“I don’t know why we haven’t been here sooner! Natalie Bianca is in our backyard yet we always choose to go downtown or midtown for food. Natalie Bianca is a gem in Cascade Heights. The parking isn’t the best but the vibes, food, and service make up for it. The staff seem to flow and work well together, the drinks are inventive, and the brunch is phenomenal. We will definitely be back for dinner service.

“This place is delicious! Everything we had was soooo delicious. The brisket sliders and strawberry banana pudding made it worth driving from Columbus. We also had the fried green tomatoes, a garden salad with fried chicken and a side of Mac n cheese which were all good as well. We definitely will be swinging back in when we come back to Atalanta.“

“I visited the Moreland location, ordered the Mild wings and grits. The grits are very taasty! Not as thick as I would like it but it was good! The chicken was very juicy the perfect crunch but certainly with a spicy kick didnt expect it lol, but the manager and staff was very accommodating🫶🏾 Will definitely come back but will order the flavor under the mild☺️“

“Vegetarian options: Majority of the vegetarian options are sides, the appetizers, and desserts. The Vegetable platter consists of a variety of the sides that they offer. While the platter was filling and did taste delicious, I would not recommend if majority of the party is vegetarian or vegan as they do not have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu (that I am aware of or saw). So if you are vegetarian, your only option will be the platter.
Parking: Complimentary, but mandatory Valet parking where you can “pay what you want”. There is no fixed price for the parking. We offered to park our own car, but was told that was not an option in their parking lot.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Honestly, I was surprised. We were in Summer Hill trying to get dinner somewhere else but they couldn't squeeze us in, so we ended up at Southern National. The food was SO good. “I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

These tails would be wonderful for lobster connoisseurs and even those who just do not care for it. Why? The crispy, crunch of the batter is full of flavor, delivering a full southern punch to a subtle crustacean. The batter additionally captures the juices within the meat which explodes upon bites. “This was a step up from the typical hotel restaurant. Appetizer and main courses were very well prepared. Shandi was our waitress. She was professional and had a very friendly attitude and smile. The DJ playing in the lobby chose some great tunes that we enjoyed during dinner. I recommend this restaurant.“
“Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!“

“My family and I had a wonderful time here for Mother's Day Brunch!! Our server, Sunshine, was so fun and energetic which made our experience. The ambience was also amazing, and the food was delish! It was also super easy to get a reservation kind of last minute for a busy day, and they were very understanding and nice when I called to alert them we would be 15 minutes late. It was quiet when we first arrived (11:15) and around 12:30 the dj music started and more people arrived so it definitely got louder and livelier, but nothing crazy.“

“I visit today Sunday 8/4/24. I am very familiar with this establishment. The food is good but today I was met with attitude from the little short female meat server. The vegetable server and cashier was good with customer service. I suppose they all are not Christians or maybe christian without christian attitude. Sometimes you are the only Bible people read. The counting of how many Candi yams you give is crazy for the price you pay for a dinner. I think I might go somewhere else for Sunday dinner.“

“I couldn't wait to go to Bojangles before and after my visit to the Big Georgia Peach. Bojangles originally started in Memphis, Tn. (If I'm not mistaken) on Lamar. It was the only one. The Best Fried chicken you could have ever eaten. Don't ask how old I am, (lol) but I was a little girl at the time. And it hasn't changed since I had eaten it when I was little. The cashier and the other lady helping her were awesome. Beautiful personality and customer service was Top Notch. Kudos to whomever was consistently cooking chicken n biscuits because we ended up getting 20 pc. And went back to get some for home. Sweet tea was soooo good!! “I had a wonderful experience when I ate at this location with family. Staff was inviting and we got seated right away although we all couldn’t sit together we were still in the same area we was 24 ppl deep..I wished I could remember the waitress name cause she was amazing! I had the Catfish with Greens and Mac n cheese, A drink it was good and strong & the fried devil eggs with shrimp & the banana foster pudding. It was all delicious definitely will come back when visiting ATL.“
