I had the braised beef short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The meat was super fork pull apart tender, mashed potatoes well seasoned, and collard greens like somebody’s Grandma was making them in the kitchen.

My wife and I also had the collard greens cheese dip and the Kung Pao Brussel sprout for an appetizer. Both appetizers were delicious and more than enough for 2-3 people.

If ever at the West End, going out for a date night, or looking for a place to grab a meal and chill before taking a short walk on the beltline please checkout Boxcar they won’t let you down.“

“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) Tarvis, thank you for making two weary travelers leave your restaurant with pep in their step Keep on shining your light. And to any traveler who is leery of a place that serves a hamburger and a sushi roll… Fear not. This place is great.“

I decided to try the Blue Dreams (seafood), Maui Wowie (Philly steak with onions, peppers and fried potatoes) and that doggone Wedding Cake egg rolls. Yall yall yall! Everything was fresh and everything was bomb delicious! Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Yall, it’s so good it’s dangerous. For real. ? I will be back and I’m telling all my friends. Service took about 15 min to cook but I walked in. To get everything fresh and only wait 15 was great! Yeah, this is the spot. ?

“Tried Rahim Chicken Supreme and was blown away by the flavor! The chicken was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of spice. The portions were generous and the service was fast and friendly. You can tell they put care into every dish. Definitely a must-try spot if you love delicious, well-prepared chicken.“

The food and drinks are second to none - indulgent and fun from apps to drinks to full plates and sides (we ate a lot!) Katie took care of us and she was the best - nailed the recommendations. “I had the pleasure of visiting Social Capitol shortly after its opening, and I must say—it’s already operating like a well-loved local favorite.

The staff greeted me so kindly, helped me with menu suggestions, and checked up on me just enough; being attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that hospitality is a top priority here.

The food? Exceptional. I had the breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes and a parfait. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a light bite or something hearty, the menu offers a well-balanced variety of items.

What really tied the experience together was the ambiance. The space is wonderfully designed. It’s sophisticated and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can lose track of time at either dining, chatting, or working on your own thing.

“The view of the track was an adrenaline rush. I wanted to speed around it for a few laps. I also enjoyed my watermelon salad, but the peppery arugula was NO BUENO (that's an acquired taste). My friend enjoyed the burger and fries that were a little elevated. Overall, a pretty good experience with Porsche vehicles as great back drops.“

“First time customer but avid BBQ eater. I must say I was impressed with my order (4 meat platter- smoked wings, brisket, pulled chicken, baby back ribs), sweet tea, Mac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread, garlic bread, and banana pudding. I did a DoorDash order and when I got it was still warm. Unfortunately I got a visitor at the same time so I had to wait a few minutes to finally eat it and it had cooled off but I will say this- it was delicious even cool! The portions were very generous as well.

The wings were phenomenal! Easily some of the best wings I have had. Flavor throughout and not tough at all.

Ribs were juicy and literally pulled right off the meat with not meat left on the bone. The flavor was exactly what I expected.

Pulled chicken was flavorful but on the drier side (somewhat to be expected with chicken tbh), definitely my least favorite from everything I got.

The sliced brisket was juicy and the bark firm and full of flavor. The meat was also really good without the bark so well flavored throughout.

The garlic bread was good but the cornbread was hard as a rock and I didn’t even eat it.

The banana pudding was great as was the Mac n cheese and baked beans.

“I went out with some friends after attending the opening night of The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival. We had loads of laughs, and our waiter joined in and added to the laughter. The menu is very limited and geared towards patrons with a slightly more sophisticated pallet than the average person. I believe I had The Bronzino, which was trout on a bed of veggies with a special red sauce.
The fish was cooked to perfection with a nice crunch on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside. The veggies were the perfect size and had a nice soft crunch to them as well. The sauce was bursting with flavor!

We sat on the patio. It was nice, but they never turned the patio lights on, so the lighting was very dim. But it was a cool atmosphere.“

“I recently visited Culturistic Kitchen on Veterans Day, and I’m so glad my friend and I decided to stick around until they opened a little after three. We had the salad with catfish, and it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and just perfect. The highlight of our experience, though, was Imani K. at the bar.
