Octopus Bar Reviews
One of my favorite spots in Atlanta. When you go ask for Jada, great service!
Jada was a amazing server and her was 10 outta 10
My friend took me to Octopus Bar after a fun night out, and I’ve been obsessed with this place ever since. The food and drinks are sublime! My favorite items on the menu are the shrimp, which you must eat with the peel on, and the eggplant. It’s an east atlanta staple and this place deserves all the praise! Shout out to the chefs and bartenders that provide the deliciousness and friendly service that Octopus Bar is known for.

Octopus Bar is a casual and dimly lit restaurant that offers a diverse menu and a lively atmosphere. The service is consistently praised as fantastic, with the bartender Anthony being a highlight. While the food is generally well-received, with the lobster roll and fried eggplant being standout dishes, the oysters have been described as disappointing, with tiny portions and a lack of complementary toppings. The menu caters to those with a more sophisticated palate, featuring dishes like The Bronzino, a trout served on a bed of veggies with a flavorful red sauce, cooked to perfection with a nice crunch and juicy inside. The ambiance is fun and vibrant, with colored lighting and different seating areas, including a patio where the atmosphere remains cool despite dim lighting. The restaurant is a popular late-night spot, especially for groups after events or games, offering great drinks, valet parking, and attentive service from staff like Asmaa. Overall, Octopus Bar is considered a hidden gem with a well-crafted menu, great drinks, and a lively environment that makes it a favorite for those looking for a fun night out.
