“Seen this place about 5 years ago and always wanted to go their cause it gave me texas chainsaw massacer vibes(i love horror movies) cause it was an old house and today i finally got there with some friends and it blew me away, by far the best bbq ive tasted in Ga so far and they are reasonable priced with a very clean resturant and very pleasent owner/waitress. Food was very tasty and i got ribs and their 3 brunswhick bbq sandwhiches with peach cobbler and everything was very home tasting and tasted like real food and even the peach cobbler i got tasted amazing and like home made cobbler.”

“Very glad we stopped here and tried Koreana Restaurant. My husband works in the area and usually just picks up some bbq sandwiches or something quick on the road. I don’t usually ride along to Columbus but I wanted to see the area so I tagged along and we decided to try Koreana since I was craving seolleongtang. We’re from Gwinnett so lots of trendy Korean options, but Koreana was great. Reminded me of old Gwinnett, like the places I used to go in high school. Everything was yummy, banchans were great, and portions/prices were generous. Will definitely be our go to in the area! Now I look forward to riding along to Columbus when my husband has work there.”

“Pokeweed Creek is our most favorite place to eat out. Nothing beats this hometown restaurant where the chef comes out to make sure you are happy with your meal. The chef exceeds our expectations every single time. Tonight we had the bacon wrapped quail, and it was amazing. We’ve had everything on the menu so far, and it's all delicious. “Older place with records and pictures of classic cars. A cool older place that has great chill dogs, scrabble dogs, and steak sandwich. A nice place to grab a simple meal but delicious. If you like hot dogs this place is a must.”

“I ate lunch there yesterday after having gotten up at 3:45 that morning to drive my stepmom to Jack Hughston hospital to have back surgery. I was exhausted and trying to take care of her and help her get out with her walker. I left my purse sitting in a chair at our table and never missed it until I got out at my house in Americus. I drove over an hour home and never thought about it. Glad I didn’t get stopped by a cop. I only missed it when I got out and it wasn’t there. I immediately called and Christina told me she found it right after we left and locked it up in the managers office. Since my daughter lives there I sent her to get it. Everything was still there. My cash, credit cards and my pistol. Nothing had been disturbed. I’m so appreciative of this honest young lady. It really restored my faith in people. Kudos to her parents for raising a decent, honest and hardworking young lady. Please go support this establishment and tell Christina what a fine young lady she is. The food is great too.”
