“We visited some friends in LaGrange and they recommended this place so much, they just drove us there after we finished lunch! It's a cute place, with a walk-up window. No one was ahead of us in line, so I barely had time to look at the menu posted, so I just asked for the most chocolatey-peanut buttery ice cream they had in a cup. Cashier said they had a chocolate-peanut butter ice cream and they could add chopped Reece's Cups. SOLD! My husband ordered the Salted Caramel Truffle in a waffle cone. We sat in the outside seating and enjoyed the afternoon. Ice cream was fantastic - my friends did not lead us astray. Highly recommend if you're in the area visiting Callaway Gardens!”
“Had a great shrimp burrito here. The guac was bland (pretty much just smashed avocado with cilantro) but my baby loved it. I wish I hadn't tipped as much as I had because I didn't realize you bus your own table after eating. Will update as I go again.Kid-friendliness: High chair, but buckle was broken”
“The sandwiches purchased were neat, fresh, and very delicious. My son also mentioned how he felt about it, and I seconded the opinion. Hamilton Ga Subway never disappoints!”
“We had no idea where to eat in Pine Mountain, GA. I looked online and this eaterie had excellent reviews. My husband said we'll go for it. The food was great and the server was very pleasant. Overall a great lunch experience for both of us.”
“This is my favorite place for hot coffee and food~ all of their food is amazing! The people here make it even more amazing. They also have the cutest stuff available for purchase!”
“The food is wonderful. However, the portions of some items seems to be a bit on the small side. Specifically, the corn nuggets don’t seem adequate for the price. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to Harris County and the people who run it are wonderful. my only true complaint is that the hours of operation no longer fit my schedule.Vegetarian options: They have salad.Parking: Little gravel side lot and paved lot on other side.Kid-friendliness: It is a one story building, and the parking lot is level with no curb.”
“Great Mexican and fun and friendly associates. Really great experience and we will definitely return.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of children there of many ages and my daughter easily found food she loved.”
“Good food at darn good prices! $10 gets you a plate with 2 sides, or a sandwich/burger with a side and big drink. The homemade fries were solid, and the fried tomato and okra were super fresh and delicious. The pork isn't what my Californian self is used to - it's chopped into small chunks instead of pulled, and isn't cooked with BBQ sauce. It was decent quality but there wasn't much other flavor in it. It's not great on its own, so I recommend getting extra bread or something to mix it with. Lions can be 20 minutes or more on the weekend, even past 1:30.Vegetarian options: The sides could be vegetarian, but don't expect any mains besides a grilled cheeseDietary restrictions: No guarantees, but the staff are friendly and cook the food fresh, so you could ask for alterations.Parking: The lot can get near full but you can always find a spotKid-friendliness: No kids menu nor sides like mac and cheese, but there's enough sandwiches and BBQ meat to keep most kids happyWheelchair accessibility: The ramp isn't quite smooth but it's manageable. No power door.”
“Vegetarian options: Greek salad is amazing! I added salmon but is excellent with or without it!! The salmon was excellent as well! Highly recommend this restaurant.”
“So good! We got a fried tilapia basket and 3 different wings baskets. The baskets come with fries and hush puppies or toast. No diet food here :) Great service, clean, nice atmosphere, family friendly. There are 4 tables inside and some bar seating by the window. We were there for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty full.”
“It doesn't get any better than this! The food is to die for. The service fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. I travel all over the east coast for the last 10 years and this is one of the very best dining experiences! If not for the inconvenience of living in Pa., I'd be a regular here!!”
“Dee lish us. Never disappointed at this place. Friendly servers, fast service, reasonable prices, copious amounts of food. All items we've had have been super tasty. Rock shrimp appetizer is very unique. Food served nice n hot. Give this place 2 ??.Vegetarian options: Vegetable lo mein”
“Like most restaurants in 2024, this establishment suffers from being understaffed with a relatively limited menu. However, against the odds, they manage to provide excellent food and a satisfying dining experience. Kudos to the wait staff. Recommended.”
“We are visiting Callaway Gardens and were looking for a local place for a casual dinner. We dined inside on a cool evening. We received a friendly greeting. Our pizza orders were delivered promptly to our table. Great pizza. The crust was delicious. Highly recommend.”
“I have never tasted such a delicious cake from a bakery. we got the strawberry cake and it was so moist and good!!! we all kept waiting for that terrible sugar rush with the crash to hit us but it NEVER did. we didn't get that yucky feeling you usually get after eating cake or sugary sweets at all. I don't think I will ever buy from another bakery because I don't think it could possibly get any better than this. this bakery set a very high bar and I'm HOOKED! we also got a dozen of their cupcakes and they were just as good! try this place you won't be disappointed!!”
“I have been driving by this place for too long, stopped in yesterday to give it a try and man I’m sure glad I did. The large chipped sandwich was plenty big and loved the mustard based sauce. Slaw dog was on point , baked beans were good and oh the buttermilk pie ?. I’ll be stopping in here often . Oh and it was very affordable.Kid-friendliness: A neat atmosphere”
“My family had an excellent experience here. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious! Will definitely be visiting here again!Kid-friendliness: They go out of their way to make your entire family enjoy this fine dining experience.”
“Awwwe... Y'all made amazing cakes! Absolutely beautiful! Delish too! We LOVED our Vanilla Cake! Everyone raved over it! You will be missed. Will you be opening another one somewhere else?”
“Walked in a little late for breakfast, and the wonderful ladies quickly pointed us to breakfast bowls next door (left over from breakfast service) so we could get them. Delicious!! Also, the biscuits were fluffy and delicious, too!”
“Really quaint place! My catfish was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The fries were plenty and crispy! Hubby got hot wings with potato logs (wedges), and they were really good as well!Very steady line of people coming in, calling in orders and lining up at the drive thru. We were satisfied and full afer leaving.A big kudoo to the fact they posted a sign to let customers know that cash and credit prices differ. Typical today and that's fine. Another business in this town isn't doing that and they are adding fees to the bill without telling people. Very dishonest of that other business. We'll definitely be coming back to this one. The menu has LOTS to try!”
“An absolute gem! From the rosemary sourdough, the the polite service, to the quiet and gorgeous atmosphere, the quality of this restaurant is priceless… PLEASE reopen!!!”
“We arrived before dinner crowd; the weather allowed us to eat on the patio. Brian our server was over to take our orders. The soup of the day was a tomato/potato soup- weird combo but it worked. They were out of crackers, but Brian proactively toasted bread and brought that out for the soup - great service! Recommend the Callaway burger - nice balance of toppings that are sweet but balanced by the slightly salt chargrill taste from the beef patty. All in all a great meal and service!”
“I’ve been here plenty of times they never fail. Their food and service is always spot on. Definitely a great place to go and it’s in a really good spot for locals.”
“They have the best BBQ & I have tried many BBQ places in nearby Columbus. The staff is great...Ed is absolutely the best he definitely came in & changed the restaurant atmosphere. He makes sure you are very satisfied with your food. I eat here several times a week & never get tired of the BBQ it's so good. Only suggestion I would say is adding more sides to choose from. This is a great little BBQ place worth the drive to Cataula.”
“My wife and I were invited to a wedding being held in the chapel on the grounds. We stayed two nights. Our room was nice sized with a king sized bed. The one drawback was it was very expensive compared with similar rooms we have stayed at in nicer hotels. Almost $100 of each days cost was taxes and resort fees. We did not use the hot tub or pool but they were pretty. My wife said they need a magnifying mirror in the bathrooms. We did not eat on the grounds but the restaurant was busy at night. They need more premium TV channel options”
“Loved the old country feel, the food was great and the tour of the property ( by River ) was very informative! She named all of the animals and even told us how to survive in the woods!”
“Great food and service only complaints are Pepsi products, yuck yuck yuck, and no pellet ice anymore, and no thousand island dressing, who doesn't have it????”
“Food was ok.... I have the cheeseburger and fries, expected a homemade burger patty instead of a frozen patty for the price. Buns were cold on a hot patty which wasn't ”
“I loved the food. It’s very filling. Loved the biscuits! Could eat 10 of them. The French toast weren’t good to me. They taste more like bread instead of French toast. I also wished the chicken tenders were more crunchier. Overall food was great and fresh. It’s not a long wait time to get your order.”
“A steakhouse in the middle of nowhere that is usually packed. That says something. We have ridden by this place dozens of times en route to Alabama and have wanted to stop and finally got the opportunity. We now know why it's packed. The steaks are cooked perfectly and the seafood is delicious. Give this place a try if you're in the area.”
