“Skip if you are vegetarian. Few options beyond hummus, pita and the whipped feta. The falafel were the tiniest I have ever seen and only 3 were served. So small all there was to eat was the deep fried crust, no soft steaming yummy green inside to taste. I have never had falafel like that. Hard and crunchy. We left hungry and wishing we had gone somewhere else. Service was very good but for the prices, one would expect that. Just an OK experience.“

“We were at Finley Stadium for a BOA band competition. Pizza Bros was close by (we didn’t realize that, and ended up driving — parking was difficult!) Turns out we could have just walked across the street.
We got seated immediately and had our food within a few minutes. There were lots of screens so we could watch the UT game while waiting. The pizza was excellent…thin crispy crust, delicious sauce, the perfect amount of cheese. And they have Coke! All of this at a very reasonable price. We will definitely return if in the area again!“

“My son and daughter in law and I ate at Hello Monty last night. The atmosphere was very nice and the host was great. Our waitress was outstanding. She took care of us the whole time we were there. We lucked up with no reservation and there was one table open in the bar/lounge area. Everything was incredible. VERY rarely am I impressed with a dinning experience in all ways.

Boiled peanuts were worthy of the sketchiest gas station that has the highest yelp reviews in the state (if you don’t know, that’s the highest praise). The owner took care of me, she’s a queen. I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available). You won’t regret a single thing you have here, but the best part was the vibe. 12/10 stars. Do recommend.“

“Everything about Fifty-Fifty is awesome and it’s very quickly become our regular weekday bar. The $15 wine tastings are particularly great. The value is great especially for what they pour but the real differentiator is Faith, who handled our tasting. Knowledgeable about the wine and with some picks from places I hadn’t heard of while making it approachable and fun to learn something new. It was incredible!“

Fantastic little spot. The staff are fun and enjoy chatting as much as we do. The people coming and going were all smiles and talkative too. Everyone’s so friendly and supportive. We see a child running down the stairs as a grandmother was attempting to chase her. Another mom leaped up out of no where to catch the kid, her and the grandmother laughed and chatted for a bit. Then parted ways. There’s no scenario at The Downtowner that won’t make a Frein’s here.

The food is worth it, the drinks are pricey but great (per the norm, haha). Our last night there was $62. That was two Private Barrel Makers Mark and cokes, and two strawberry daiquiris.“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“We stopped by for lunch on the Tuesday after Labor Day. The place was not very busy, so we worried it would be so-so, but the food was excellent, and ready quickly. We had some time to kill before going to the aquarium, and this place was interesting enough to stay a while, with great views and entertainment for the kids. Great for the whole family. “Had a fantastic meal and wonderful service. The only negative would be the hostess. Not the most attentive when we checked in and then she took us to our table. We were given option of a two seater right between the only two occupied tables in the dining room or a two seater against the wall near the restrooms. Given it was early I thought maybe the 4 seaters were all booked but at end of night they were still fairly empty when we left.“

“Pretty good. Not overly crowded, but there was only one waitress. She was good but a bit overworked so difficult to get things just right or timely. The dressing for the Caesar salad is very anchovy heavy. My husband liked it, but I could not eat it. The crabcakes were delicious. We ordered a side, but it never came. We had a lemon coconut dessert and it was flavorless; neither one of us ate it after the first bite. I guess the crabcakes saved our whole experience because they were quite good.“

“I was visiting from NC, so I asked some police officers where they like to eat at downtown. One of the officers recommended this place. I wish I could thank him! When I say my food was great...oh they did that! And most of the people in there eating where Latino, so you know the food is right. I plan on going back to Chattanooga next year to meet up with my friends; I'll be right back up in there!“
