“I want to start by saying we’ve eaten here A TON as mango sushi. First trip with the new owners….Took over an hour to get 2 orders of noodles and 1 order of vegetables, they are very under staffed, 1 cook and 1 on sushi, so that’s fair.….Food tastes great but Half way through eating one of us pulled a very long blonde hair out of her mouth… we both stopped eating because gross. We get it, it happens, we are all human. HOWEVER, the guys at the table next to us had the same problem with the rice right after we ordered drinks. Now, Normally at a restaurant a manager would have come over and apologized and would have made it right, nope. She sent our waitress back over to apologize and told her they were taking one side of noodles off our bill. $3…. We still tipped our waitress well, she was sweet and nothing was her fault. This would not have happened with the old owners.“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“We love Sushi City! We have been there at least seven times (maybe more) since it opened. That is where my mother wants to go for a family dinner for her 94th birthday coming up soon. We love the food and the fact that you can order all-you-want or just from the menu. Even the non-sushi people can find a good selection for their tastes. “Always quick service and friendly staff. Food is consistently good quality; only complaint is that they air on the less-spicy side (which is good for people who are unsure of what spice level they want, but can be frustrating for those who want their mouths to burn). The staff does have hot sauce and chili oil on hand so you can spice as you wish.
Sushi is always fresh and if you sit at the car you can watch them prep it. Food is also delivered in a timely manner and the restaurant seems clean.“

She’s calls it the “kitty cat place” because of the cat that delivers our food! They had it sing happy birthday! She got a light up crown and a treat!
