I visited from out of town on business and I loved this place. Everyone that worked there was super friendly. It was a slow night for them. I got gator tail bites and fries. The food is a little on the expensive side. Had a few beers. I played the free music bingo and won a free 6 pack and a pint. I'd recommend this place.
Food was great! So was the atmosphere!
This is a great hangout for friends, couples and /or families. Jekyll Brewing is now a local OG, with original Ga Craft breweries selling to Big brands or folding because of the pandemic. The facility is outstanding, clean and spacious. We did not eat any food but it looks as though they have a real chef (see menu). Jekyll Brewing offers a clean, nice outdoor area with corn hole and indoor seating, including a bar and shuffle table. The menu features a variety of dishes, such as half dozen raw oysters, fish and chips, and bourbon shrimp in a savory cream sauce. The beer selection, including a fantastic kolsch, is praised, and the atmosphere is described as relaxing and friendly, with live music on certain nights. The facility is outstanding, clean and spacious, and the location near the historic railroads in Gainesville is great. The menu has many vegetarian options, including fresh squeezed juice flights and a black bean quinoa falafel entree, which are highly praised. The service is excellent, and the beer, including the original recipe double IPA, is also well-liked. Overall, Jekyll Brewing is a popular local hangout for friends, couples, and families.
