About Scott's Downtown

Scott's Downtown was a restaurant located in Gainesville. While it may not have been the best option for a healthy meal, the food had improved dramatically and was now exceptional. The restaurant featured a newly painted interior with the same layout as before. Service could be slow, but the staff was always pleasant and willing to make adjustments to accommodate customers' requests. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Scott's Downtown was a great option for a special occasion. Reservations could be easily made through Open Table. Unfortunately, the restaurant has now permanently closed after fourteen years, unable to recover from the challenges of the COVID years and ongoing Gainesville square construction expansions.
