Taco Bell in Gainesville

“Update: I talked to the district manager and he made it right. I understand that the employees in the store don’t have authority to make decisions for the store so I’m pleased with the outcome, but I still will not ever use Apple Pay again. Lesson learned.

I went to Taco Bell in New Holland shopping center in Gainesville, GA a few days ago and placed an order at the drive thru. When I got to the window to pay I used Apple Pay. The drive thru worker told me that my transaction did not go through and he needed to swipe Apple Pay again. I, of course, complied and allowed him to swipe my Apple Pay a second time. Both transactions cleared my bank. I went back to Taco Bell where they refused to give me a refund. I called my bank and was told that because I used Apple Pay that I could not dispute the transaction. At this point Taco Bell in New Holland shopping center in Gainesville, GA are thieves and Apple Pay is endorsing thieves.“

“Waited in line in the drive thru for 26 minutes.

Update as of 08/29/2025 at 9pm. Service was great. I never leave a tip at a fast food place but the young man who took my order was very professional and knew what he was doing.“

“Always super quick in the drive thru in the mornings when I get my once weekly breakfast burrito (I suggest the fiesta potato cheesy toasted breakfast burrito cause it's $2 and filling). Also special thank you to Audrea W who is always super kind.“
