Being bred, born & raised in Texas, I know Tex-Mex, via San Antonio. I was disheartened by Sombreros. Menu was extensive, the Texas margarita (with a Tajin rim) was very good. But my combo plate did not measure up to Tex-Mex. Where were the charro beans or the borracho beans? Not offered...only black or refried. Allegedly, they didn't have on the menu because "a lot of people don't eat pork"...well! But they serve carnitas. And you don't have to season with pork.
