“A friend of mine brought me Biscuit Express a couple of rainy mornings! So I'm not experienced with their service. I can tell you that their sausage biscuits a wonderful! The biscuit was perfect, not too small, not too large, just right. And it was delicious. Also, I had a breakfast bowl! Yummy, Yummy, as well! And y'all, the low price of the food was what got me. It was less than $15 for three people to have breakfast biscuits.“

“Great local hang for quality homemade breakfast. Moderately priced, made like grandma. Sausage is nice and lean. I usually do ham/egg/cheese/tomatoe biscuit and a price of sausage on side. Killer. My girl goes for tenderloin/egg/cheese. Both never let us down. Also side of white gravy to dip is next level.“

“This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. This was our third attempt to give them a chance. Horrible service on first try. Horrible food on the second try and abysmal health rating on the third try. Done and done.“

“The service here was really good. Staff were very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. If I had to fault it for anything, it was the food. I really didn't enjoy the garlic parmesan wings as they were quite different from what is a traditional garlic parmesan wing. They were sweet, almost like a glaze. Their gyro was also just okay. What I thought was really good was their deli sandwich. I've had plenty of deli style sandwiches, and theirs was solid. All the veggies were fresh and delicious. Would come back to try other stuff.“

“Pretty cool place to eat. If I complain about anything, some of the items are hit or miss. Their burgers are good, and so is their chicken salad melt, but they miss the mark with barbeque and bready onion rings. Their ranch is amazing, though, and made up for it.“

“Came in for a little brekkie while on spring break with my kiddo. Absolute gem. We were greeted by the warmest, most genuine “good morning!!!” From what I am assuming to be one of the managers. Set the tone immediately. Aesthetically it was adorable, food was delicious and tasted real… not like the chain restaurants. Menu had little quips and fun food facts which really invites you in. Devon our server was fabulous, easy going, not rushing around. Definite must try in Athens!“

“My husband and I just ate at "The Hilltop Grille" in Dec. 2024. I have heard rave reviews for yeats. My rating is this: Great Food, Not friendly service and not memorable except for the food. Waitress was not attentive enough, had to ask 3 times for condiments to eat lunch. Not sure if returning...“

“Great service. Great atmosphere. The food was lacking. Biscuit was overly salty. Sausages were cold in the center. Eggs were not seasoned (which is fine, you’d just have to ask for salt a pepper). The duck taters were good but greasy, but deliciosu. Would come back again, but would order something else.“

I tried their Dragonfruit Margarita which was definitely the star of the show!! It was AMAZING & I also got the long pour which turned out to be almost 3-4 cups!

They also serve bread which is always warm & delicious!“

Amazing fries and tater tots as sides with a great variety of funky dipping sauces, from raspberry ketchup to wasabi mayo. There's a full bar here too with a variety of well-made adult drinks. I had the El Diablo, a spicy, fruity tequila cocktail with my blackberry bacon jam burger. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

If you have room there are milkshakes, kid friendly or boozy milkshakes! but we were too stuffed to try.

I love vintage, so the kitschy diner decor - B movie posters, neon, etc made for a fun atmosphere as well.

It's a small space, there's outdoor dining too - but I'll bet it's crazy around regular meal times. We arrived around 9:00 on Saturday and it was busy but not nuts.“

“ORDERED for a Business Lunch, on-site in our Athens office , via UberEats. After a sub-par Uber Eats delivery, our order was only half delivered. The driver forgot to get the other bag which were very clearly marked "Bag 1 of 2" and "Bag 2 of 2"....
Regardless, Tyler, the Operator of this location, came to the rescue and hand-delivered the remainder of our order! Very friendly and I appreciate his willingness to go above & beyond in this situation.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gusto! in Athens, the Operator really helped me out in a big way today. I have eaten both on-site and had their food offsite, and I enjoy it very much.“

“Great atmosphere, great customer service, great music, and great food-from drinks to even dessert. We truly enjoyed ourselves! We didn’t even know but we showed up in time for Happy Hour and got half off on the appetizer and we came on a day with a New York Strip special! A huge shout out to Anna for her awesome personality and her wonderful customer service!

We will be back and we will tell others!

The only regret I have is that I didn’t take any pictures of our food!

“It’s easy to forget about the not-downtown restaurants in Athens, but my meal here was as good as anything I’ve had in town. The service (all students) was impeccable and prices are surprisingly reasonable. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts and the salmon entree with Gouda risotto, peas, and mushrooms. Everything was SO delicious and served beautifully. You don’t need to be a guest in the Georgia Center hotel to check this place out!“

At times, I have been disappointed with the quality and/or quantity of the order. However, today (9/20/24) I was very satisfied. I wanted to give props to whoever is in the kitchen this afternoon (around 11a.m.) because the tacos were put together well, with heaping quantities of slaw with the shrimp, and it was super yummy. The service by our hostess Rebecca was beyond excellent. She has a heart ❤️ for people and loves her job. She even brought us a complimentary appetizer for our anniversary. Thank you again Rebecca. “I went here with a friend to catch up. Great food, great service, quiet atmosphere. Dinner at 5:30 on a Sunday night after a UGA away game. He had the BBQ Platter and I had the BLT. Very good food and enjoyable.

Parking: This area is a shared strip mall. Best time for parking is after 5pm.

Kid-friendliness: This is a sports bar, but the area is relatively clean.

“It has been several years since I have been to Porterhouse, and what an incredible experience it was! Anthony (GM and Head-Chef) has really turned that place around!

It was a full restaurant on a Friday evening, and the atmosphere had a great vibe. Happy conversations and clinking of silverware could be heard throughout the dining room. The staff and service was awesome! They were very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all, had a sense of urgency. Everyone was hustling!

And the food...good gracious. That was hands-down the BEST steak I have ever had from a restaurant, ever! Although the price tags might be a bit steep upon first glance, the whole dining experience was well-worth it. After 15 years of my own experience in food-service, I don't say this lightly!

Porterhouse is reclaiming it's stand as a fine-dining restaurant, and my family and I will definitely be going back!“
