“The BEST BREAKFAST you can get from a restaurant. Important to know that they only take cash or check, so make sure you are prepared for that. It's homemade and so good. The service is always great, too. Very small town atmosphere where they recognize you and always speak to you.When you come in, no matter how busy it is. At certain times of the morning, it does get rather busy, but they move quickly to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner.“

“I came out with a tenderloin cheddar egg , biscuit , dipped in gravy in three minutes before I went to work! This crew right here keeps the food pumping. One time I stopped by and there were a sign on the door that said cash only so I missed that morning other than that...Always quick!“

We had a hamburger (cooked perfectly - 5 Stars) and a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich which was delicious - 5 Stars). Beautiful building. Hope you enjoy my pictures. Very relaxing place to go. “This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. This was our third attempt to give them a chance. Horrible service on first try. Horrible food on the second try and abysmal health rating on the third try. Done and done.“

Set the tone immediately. Aesthetically it was adorable, food was delicious and tasted real… not like the chain restaurants. Menu had little quips and fun food facts which really invites you in. Devon our server was fabulous, easy going, not rushing around. Definite must try in Athens!“

“Got the recommendation from Kaleb Dance at Bobcat of Athens as this first time eating here. Food was fresh, really good and priced right with fast friendly service. I got the steak philly with everything on it and 5 piece wings (hot) as a combo. Wings are super tiny so I wish I hadn't skipped on the fries. They were pretty busy with people coming in and out so that says a lot in my opinion. The wing flavor was perfect, not too spicy with plenty of flavor. The Philly was buttery rich and the bread was soft but held everything in place“

“It was a to go order and the food was brought to the car . It was warm and delicious . We had a grilled Salmon and a Tbone ( like) steak ! The sides were so Devine I ate my steak the next day . Brussels sprouts were so yummmy I SQUATED to honor them , the French Onion soup made me HOLLER like they were whooping my behind, may be the best I have had ! Give it a try !! I mean that soup calls my name and I try to communicate .. wish I had a bowl now !!“

“Great atmosphere, great customer service, great music, and great food-from drinks to even dessert. We truly enjoyed ourselves! We didn’t even know but we showed up in time for Happy Hour and got half off on the appetizer and we came on a day with a New York Strip special! A huge shout out to Anna for her awesome personality and her wonderful customer service!

We will be back and we will tell others!

The only regret I have is that I didn’t take any pictures of our food!

“We decided to have dinner during the Restaurant Week in ATH and were very pleased with our experience @ The Savannah Room. Cole, our waiter, was so nice and took great care of us during our dining experience. Can’t say enough good things about the food! My filet was not only a great value but exceptional w/ asparagus & fingerling potatoes. My wife’s salmon was amazing too. It had been a long time since we had last dined here and kind of had overlooked it as a dining option but we are already looking forward to a return visit and hope to share with some friends so they too can enjoy this hidden gem. Thank you Savannah Room staff for a great dinner!“

-kimbop was not sweet, and the amount of seasoning was great. Like the rice was actually seasoned- not just white rice like some fake korean joints. Fillings to rice ratio was pretty good too. Only thing is that I expected tuna mayo instead of just tuna? But I feel like this is more of a preference so just an fyi

- udon had unexpected flavor, not that it was bad, just different than what I expected. Not like regular japanese udon but more of korean old fasion udon.. (가락국수 스타일!). It was tasty with hearth broth:)

Also the prices are pretty good for this economy“

“I made a note on my online order last night begging for drums to be a certain flavor and flats to be a diff flavor. They did it AND w a sweet smiley note. Every time I eat this restaurant I have a great experience. The Togo orders are always perfect!! That was the most awesome thing ever and it made my day!! I really hope whoever made that happen got some of the tips. I came back in to leave more to hopefully get some to the mysterious person that made it possible. YALL ROCK!
