Tam the traveling Sheltie's first visit here was greatly enjoyed. Good country cooking, lovely country staff, and little country community - just like God intended. It was well worth firing up the Hellcat and cruising over from Macon, and I'm looking forward to wrapping my paws around some more of Maebob's goodies.
I don’t care what any one says I grew up eatting here. My family use to run bear camp lake back in the 90s and we use to eat here all the time. Best food ever. I can’t wait to go back in June this year to camp where I grew up and to eat at the great place again.

Did takeout here once because I didn't feel like driving 20 miles to the nearest town and this is the only restaurant in Irwinton, so "beggars can't be choosers", right? Surprisingly, the fried chicken had a nice coating to it and was seasoned well, but unfortunately the sides were less impressive. This place isn't going to blow you away, but it is what it is... a small family diner in a small town.
