Our family loves Thompson’s Cove, which is about a 30 minute country drive for us. It’s so homey and delicious. They just set tea and water pitchers on the table so you can top off your own cups. Thursday night was 1st time we have visited this Hidden Secret. Catfish was hot crispy and not greasy. A lot of catfish houses pre cook their fish and refry them when order is place. This makes them creasy and the crust comes off. These were perfect. The crust on the fried shrimp was great. We will make the trip from Macon Again. Reminds me of quality of food served years ago at Yatesville & Barnesville Catfish Houses. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a hometown kind of place. Mostly seafood and fried. The food was good, the tea was great, and friendly service. It was a little confusing to find if you don't know where you were going.
