Our terrific server, Katie, was very helpful in explaining different menu items and cocktails, and regularly checked with us and shared with us the history of the building. “The cozy ambiance of Jasper's family restaurant envelops you as soon as you enter, the best in Jasper . The food shines, but the portion sizes leave something to be desired. My spinach salad with salmon was delectable, yet it barely had enough greens. I chuckled, not really, wondering if they were taxing spinach! Our friends faced the same plight, with scant lettuce and minuscule croutons. A little more generosity with the portions could elevate this delightful eatery even further. “We are visiting my in laws (coming from Texas) and stopped by for Saturday brunch. The food was delish but the people really made our experience special. All the ladies here were so sweet and helpful and they made our 9 month old baby daughter really happy!! Talking to her and flirting with her, my cheeks hurt from smiling the whole visit. We really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and breakfast foods/coffee 😊 we have to come back and visit Miss Dixie next time we’re visiting Jasper ❤️“

“The only negative:
The heavy metal music was blasting! It was so loud that my husband and I had trouble hearing each other as we sat in our booth. We eventually just stopped trying to communicate during breakfast. It was so loud that we might not come back again. When we finally left, we both sighed in relief when we got outside. Today is December 7th, so they could have had soft Christmas music playing for a nice atmosphere, or even just any music that was on a lower volume.

The many positives:
Other than the blaring music, the service was excellent, and the food was tasty. Our kind server's nametag said "Maw Maw". She was great! She took our order and then brought our food very quickly. She was very thoughtful and polite and checked on us several times during our meal. Great service and very good food!“

Parking: Best parking in town is free pavement no sink holes like Florida you go in for a dinner and come out to find out your car was ate by a giant sinkhole! Oh plenty of room also straight lines not like Alabama you know they mark the parking spots like a 3 yr old using Crayola also there's variety you can get sunlight or night time environment deal pretty good come visit!
