“I was disappointed with the special Super Bowl iced sugar cookies I purchased. For the price per cookie, I expected them to taste better. The icing was bland and the cookies were extremely thin. They were pretty to look at, that was about the only thing they had going for them. Even a kid or two said they were just "ok." I'll be sticking with the chocolate cake or the quiche.“

“I visited this bakery last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The place had a warm, welcoming feel, and the smell of fresh baked goods hit me as soon as I walked in. I picked up a few pastries and a loaf of bread, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The cinnamon roll was especially good, soft and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and patient while I decided what to order. Prices seemed fair for the quality you get. Definatly a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving something fresh and tasty.“

“This bakery was so cute and cozy. All the bake goods looked delicious. I got to try a salt bread which was super soft and buttery. The Crookie (cookie croissant) was melty sweet crispy perfection. “Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. Our Book Club recently met there for our “Favorite Things” party, and everything was fabulous! The quiches were light, flavorful, and delicious, and the desserts were absolutely to die for. The owner couldn’t have been kinder — she even came to my rescue when I realized (too late!) that I was supposed to wrap my gifts. “This is a long overdue review, we have been coming to Cafe Amico in Roswell regularly since it was opened, two or three times a week. The latte is our absolute favorite in town. It’s exceptional, smooth, no bitter roast taste, and we could ask for the level of sweetness that we prefer. Their matcha latte is my favorite, not a lot of places could make the matcha that is not grainy. They are open later than most coffee shops, especially on Sunday. The atmosphere is quiet, the place is bright and clean, with soothing music on the background. We come usually in the evening when it is not as busy, so we hardly had a long wait time for our order to come out. Excellent service, and we know all the front baristas by name. Keep up the great work, we highly recommend this place!“

“Tonight we visited the Halcyon location for the 2nd time since moving here! The first time we thought the food and staff were amazing! After dinner we bought two take and bake meals and a pie for the week. All were incredible. Tonight was even better than the first visit. The Georgia Peach salad (tonight’s special) was probably one of the greatest salads I’ve had. The chicken salad was phenomenal. Both kids finished every bit of their meals. This is a new staple in our house.“
