“I was disappointed with the special Super Bowl iced sugar cookies I purchased. For the price per cookie, I expected them to taste better. The icing was bland and the cookies were extremely thin. They were pretty to look at, that was about the only thing they had going for them. Even a kid or two said they were just "ok." I'll be sticking with the chocolate cake or the quiche.“

“This bakery was so cute and cozy. All the bake goods looked delicious. I got to try a salt bread which was super soft and buttery. The Crookie (cookie croissant) was melty sweet crispy perfection. The tiramisu croissant was delicious coffee greatness. I got to try a dalgona coffee which was delicious.“

“I've loved going here and having this cafe in our community. That being said, I've been disappointed on recent visits that they advertise selling alcohol but can't sell it unless a certain person is working. I'd rather they take down the wine list or stop selling all together if they can only sell it sometimes.

The cakes are delicious but the rest of the food is so so. I ordered a linguine pasta recently and it had two pieces of bowtie and two of pieces of rigatoni, which were out of place in the dish. It also had a few pieces of mushrooms and zucchini that appeared to be leftover or an afterthought. Weird dish overall.

Their sparkling lemonade is great. Order it with more sprite than syrup for the perfect combo, otherwise it's way too sweet.“

“Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. After dinner we bought two take and bake meals and a pie for the week. All were incredible. Tonight was even better than the first visit. The Georgia Peach salad (tonight’s special) was probably one of the greatest salads I’ve had. The chicken salad was phenomenal. Both kids finished every bit of their meals. This is a new staple in our house.“

“This place is so so pretty. It's very pink and cutesy decor. The menu is unique and has a large selection of items. I couldn't even decide on what to get and got the chokis milkshake. It was tasty, kinda like a vanilla chocolate chip milkshake. It had a lot of extra garnishes and looked yummy. I didn't like that they had the cereal outside the glass cuz it just gets all over your fingers, but I guess that sort of design is the trend now. The workers are really sweet and helpful. It feels like a welcoming place, I didn't mind sitting there for a while after getting my drink. I can't wait to come back and try the crepes!“

Caffè Antico was a great stop while walking around Avalon. The atmosphere has that cozy Italian café feel — relaxed, inviting, and perfect for a quick dessert or coffee break. I had a cappuccino with gelato, and both were excellent. The cappuccino was smooth and rich without being bitter, and the gelato was creamy, flavorful, and tasted like something you’d actually expect from a proper Italian café.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient while we looked over the different options. It’s a great spot to sit for a few minutes, cool off with gelato, or grab something sweet after dinner. Definitely one of those places that makes Avalon feel special. I’d absolutely come back.“

“STAY AWAY. this place has sold 3 times and it's only June. They nicklel and dime you to death. The original couple, who was so friendly, are not there. Then they had another owner Kenny. He never said thank you or hello. Now its sold again and there is no one who is nice or cares. What a shame to see such a gold mind go down the drain.“
