This was a quick stop, just off the Interstate. It is convenient little shack with covered picnic tables, next to the Chevron.The service was very quick. Like food in hand 60 seconds after ordering! I’m a tough bbq critic. The brisket here is shredded, which should be a crime. Brisket should only be chopped or sliced. Nothing else. It was on the dry side and had just an OK smokey essence. Brisket should never be dry…The pulled pork was better. It had more smoke flavor and was tender. It’s solid.The baked beans are teeth shatteringly sweet.
