The Hooch Hideaway

I rented a cabin for 1. walked in to terrible odor. So lets gets started. Sofa- sank to the floor when you sat- horrible. Poor lighting. Mold in shower and some nasty fish mouth over the shower head that was nasty. Could'nt even shower the 2nd day. Decor is so outdated. Dirt all over the sills and wood ledges. The bed was comfortable. Terrible service. The restaurant was about half capacity and not busy. After we were seated, we waited 20 minutes before being noticed by a waitress. She took our drink order, then we didn't see her again. 25 minutes later, we flagged down another waitress to tell her we were leaving. Not a single server looked us in the eye the whole time we were there.

Went their this evening 7-16-21 for a quick birthday dinner..This place is awesome. Very laid back. We got there right at opening and the waiters and waitresses we're wiping down tables and setting up. Our waitress (If the receipt was right,named Alley) she was excellent kept our drinks full and very nice. The grilled po boy and the smoked tuna dip was the bomb! Heidi and her crew are the best... I highly recommend it y'all ?
