The desert was the worse part of the feast, a chocolate glazed frozen eclair, that needs to be changed to a scoop of ice cream since yall want to give something frozen. I ate with my hands but you can bring your own utensils/napkins, they also give a warm wet napkin at the end.”

“This location is always clean and expedites orders efficiently. The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookie is my favorite and should be the “resident” cookie. The brownie is average in my opinion. The Milk Chocolate is my back up to the Semi-Sweet Chocolate and satisfies the chocolate urge just the same. The Double Fudge Brownie is fudge overboard you’ll need ice cold milk or ice cream to ground this chocolatey sensation. However, for less intense fudge try the galaxy brownie cookie. The Pink Velvet Cake Cookie has a “velvety” texture indeed. However, I couldn’t discern the taste profile for the Pink Velvet Cake Cookie.”

The catfish and grits were so good, I actually started liking catfish! The collards and mac n cheese are what dreams are made of. I'm serious, these are the best around. Every detail in this new restaurant has been thoughtfully worked out, down to the separate lidded cups juicy leftover. The cups fit perfectly inside the takeout containers. What a wonderful addition to the Lawrenceville food scene. I only wish they had opened in Buford! However, I will be back, and I'm bringing friends!”

Trashcan overflowing and piling into the floor. Placed my order for ham & eggs. Eggs ordered over medium. Came out so burned you could've used them to replace a tire! Sent them back. They brought scrambled eggs. Not what I ordered. If I wanted rubber eggs I would've gone to McDonald's! I will go back one time to tell my regular waitresses what happened... well maybe...”

Some food items are on menu (online and in the restaurant) however they do not have the feature food item. Management/owner very nice and the establishment is very clean.”

“I have been living in this area for 23 + years. This restaurant used to be Sophia's, if I'm not mistaken because I was there once & never went back. Recently I noticed the billboard along route 316 advertising Vintage Home Kitchen. I decided to give a try. I dine out for most of my meals so I know if a place is worth returning. I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit & didn't realize that it was buffet style, which is a "red flag" for me. The owners have done an excellent job with this type of service. The food is fresh & delicious, the the waitress & waiters do not pester you but all you have to do is look their way & they will be there if you need something. It is very resonantly priced, I am getting to be a familiar face. Also its very close to my house, I couldn't be happier. Give it a try people, you will not be disappointed!!”

“I was very pleased with my grab-and-go meal from #Popeyes last evening. There was no line, and barely a wait around 7:30pm. They were short-staffed, but the lone cashier was kind and as patient/expeditious with customers/order prep as possible. After my family placed our order, the manager decided to lock the door inside, to prevent dining within and move to drive-through only operation. I thought that was a good call, and just in time to prevent overwhelming the workers. My shrimp, biscuit, red beans & rice and apple pie were all hot, freshly made and tasty. My husband liked his spicy chicken sandwich as well. 👏👏👏 I hope they can gain some workers and keep up the good food and service there over time.”

“Delicious Food & Great Service – A Hidden Gem Worth Supporting!

I called ahead and asked if they could have a cheese pizza ready for the kids when we arrived — and they did! The service was thoughtful and accommodating right from the start. The pizza? Amazing. The kids devoured it!

We also took home a Philly beef sandwich and a chicken tandoori pizza — both were a big hit with the whole family. Honestly, this place has real potential, and it deserves more support from the community.

One suggestion I’d love to see the owner consider: a Halal Pizza Hut or United King-style salad bar. It would be a great addition, and I believe it’s something that could happen if more of us support this small business.

Here’s a breakdown of the items we tried:

Cheese Pizza:
Absolutely delicious. The dough was soft and fresh, the sauce had great flavor, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Hands down one of the best cheese pizzas we’ve had. The kids didn’t leave a single slice behind!

Beef Burger:
A solid portion and served with a good helping of fries. The patty was slightly dry, which I mentioned to the owner — and he appreciated the feedback and promised to work on it. Really great attitude and openness to improvement.

Chicken Tandoori Sandwich:
Wow! This was juicy, flavorful, and packed with fresh salad and sauces. What really stood out was the in-house baked bread — it took the sandwich to another level.

Chicken Tandoori Pizza:
Loaded with toppings, cheese, and full of flavor. Generous portions and cooked just right. Definitely something we’ll order again.

Philly Beef Sandwich:
Big, satisfying, and filled with tender beef and melty cheese. Served with fries and well worth it.

Final Thoughts:
The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and the quality is impressive. There’s a lot of heart in this place, and with continued community support, it can grow into something even bigger. We’ll definitely be back!”
