First time trying African food. Was excited but after seeing things which not edible… I wondered about the quality of the food I’ve spent my money on. I regretted a bit after picking this restaurant to try new cuisine and not taking consideration about those newest reviews from this restaurant. Staff wasn’t friendly ( they looked at me like why this Asian one knows about our restaurant). Overall food wasn’t impressed

I had the best time at Honest Star Tropical Restaurant. Our host Daniel was 100% great, excellent, well informed and provided great suggestion in regards to the menu.I had ogbono soup and that was delicious. Being out of state, I was surprised how big the portion sizes were just for under $18.
