Cracker Barrel Reviews
Cracker Barrel on Eisenhower Pkwy was not what we expect out of this restaurant. Our server took our drink order and brought biscuits and no drinks. The section we were in had 4 other tables and 3 servers. It took 30 minutes to get our food for 3 people not a huge party. When she brought our food out we asked if we could get our drinks she finally brought them out 10 minutes later. We were never offered a refill. Had to ask for our sides and never got the gravy. We had to hunt...read full review
Worst meal ever!! Pot roast potatoes and carrots were hard. My mashed potatoes had a huge black spot in it like the potato was rotten and they used it anyway. Green beans were not seasoned. Cornbread muffin was sweet like it was made from jiffy mix... cornbread is not supposed to be sweet. Will not be going back.
My wife walked across the parking lot to order food and wait for it. She loved the shop of course. As for the food, the chicken in the "chicken and rice meal" was good...the gravy was good...the rice was way undercooked and crunchy, the "greens" were terrible and tasted like cooked plastic, they had no bacon, no onions and no seasoning at all...the cheesy hash brown casserole had zero sauce and were dry as a bone, the broccoli was fine and the corn meal biscuits were very good.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers a mix of experiences for its guests. Many appreciate the friendly and professional staff, who provide great service and make the dining experience enjoyable. The food is often delicious, with the catfish being a highlight for some, while others found the hashbrown casserole bland and the green beans overcooked. The peach cobbler with ice cream remains a favorite for many visitors. The restaurant has lots of parking available and offers vegetarian options, making it accommodating for different dietary needs. However, the location lacks shade, and the cornbread can be hit or miss. Some guests have expressed disappointment in the mimosas, which are made with chardonnay instead of sparkling wine. Although the restaurant could use some updating and deep cleaning, the welcoming atmosphere makes it a nice stop for both road trips and family gatherings.
