“Great atmosphere, great beer and great food! Got a flight of four beers: the Fall Line Lager, Cloudbreaker IPA, Gator and the Seasonal Belgian Red. Each were tasty but the Cloudbreaker was a standout as a traditional IPA. Wife and I ordered the loaded chips appetizer that was basically smoked brisket, cheese sauce, red onion and barbecue sauce on top of fresh kettle chips - very good with a smoky and sweet taste. I had the ‘Roast Beast’ weekly special sandwich. Very well prepared with grilled and seasoned roast beef covered in melted cheese and grilled red onion. It paired really well with the beers. My wife got an interesting twist on a BLT that was also great. Had nice open floor plan with a sizable outdoor seating area with a fire pit and cornhole. Overall I’d highly recommend it if in the area.“

The food is absolutely fantastic. The hanging pretzel is super tasty and their pizza is the best in Macon!!! If you’re not sure what pizza to try and you’re a buffalo chicken fan, you must try the Buffalo chicken pizza!!
The beer choices are possibly the best in Macon and the beer is always cold and delicious.“

I’m not a drinker so I have water. $13.49 Here were it went down for me, I paid with a card so the bartender D decided to tip himself $11.51 totally unprofessional. My two friends paid cash. “There wings are s0 small I can knock one out in one bite. I can hold one order in one hand. I think they are still in business because the customers in Macon are satisfied with the size of them. They would not get away with selling wings as small these in the ATL.“

“Will was our server and I highly suggest that you special request him he is the best I even called the manager to let him know how wonderful I thought Will was and how great the food was. I got the hamburger on rye with onion and I also got extra crispy onion rings and they were extra crispy with sour cream. “I got two chicken enchiladas and a pork tamale. I have never seen a tamale wrapped in what seems to be seaweed, it’s usually wrapped in a corn husk. Not to mention one of my enchiladas was completely filled up with refried beans instead of chicken. I’m very disappointed and for some reason their phone line is always busy so I can’t get in contact with them to let them know what’s going on. I guess I’m going to have to turn around and drive back up there.

UPDATE: it was banana leaves, not seaweed. It smelled salty and kind of like olives so maybe that's what threw me off. They corrected my order on the spot and were very kind about it.“

“Nice experience last month. Went for an acquaintance birthday get together . The food was good and the Staff was very professional and courteous.“

“This is GREAT eats. I had the jerk pork; it was delicious. It was not as spicy hot as previous jerk dishes I've eaten, but it was much tastier. I got the mac n cheese and the rice with peas, both were amazing.

I want to try other dishes at Crooklyn's but I loved the above mentioned order so much I can't wait to get it again, so the new will have to wait.

It is not in the best part of town, but it is worth the trip. They are gracious and good humored. If you like Jamaican cooking, you will not regret it.“
