This is the second time we have stayed here because our son and grand baby live right in downtown and we live over 2 hours away and this cute, stylish, and comfy hotel is where it’s at! We met the GM Kat yesterday and she was lovely. This place is definitely a place you should check out and stay at if you are ever in downtown Macon!!! My wife and I recently visited Macon, my hometown and were fortunate enough to spend an evening in the Woodward. The checkin process was super simple, even though we messed up the date of our stay. A staff member quickly saw us struggling with the keypad, figured out the problem, ushered us to the bar for a delicious cocktail and fixed the issue (caused by me not them!) with grace and efficiency.

Guests recommend rooms 8 and 9 for their outdoor patio space. The entry to the parking garage is an awkward steep onramp, so be careful, but the hotel is accommodating and a favorite place to stay.
