First time - 2/12/2023The atmosphere was very inviting. Nice and clean. The staff greeted me when I arrived. Ordered: catfish, cabbage, kale, cornbread and iced tea. Catfish was a 5/10 the breading was not good. Would prefer cornbread batter. (Soul food)Cabbage 10/10 delicious Kale 10/10 surprisingly deliciousCornbread 0/10 - didn't taste fresh and too sweet. Tea 10/10 I will return again and try other veggies.
Y'all we frequent this establishment about once a week is very close to my home and on any day I don't feel like cooking this is the closest thing we can get to home cooking without dirty and dishes. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Everyone is always wearing a smile and they seem as though they truly enjoy being there. The only downside I would have to say is the parking lot is a very tight space.

Food is not that good, all vegetables are from a can or frozen. The meats are OK, corn bread is not good; it crumbles when you bite into it and you can tell it was cooked a day or 3 ago.. If you're hungry and you just don't want fast food, then this place is an alternative, but if you're looking for good fresh cooked vegetables, this is NOT the place to go. It's clean and staff is friendly.
